Royal Cambridge Hotel

Estaba muy bien ubicado, llegamos fácil, la habitación tenia el tamaño adecuado para dos personas que solo pasarían la noche en la habitación. La cama era cómoda. La persona que nos hizo el check in no fue grosera pero tampoco amable, me tiró la tarjeta de entrada en el mostrador de mala manera y nos recibió diciendo "What?" (No así el de check out, que fue super amable), la habitación tenia un ventilador que con suerte tiraba aire, y en plena ola de calor se nos hizo imposible dormir, la habitación era un sauna y las toallas olían a ¿queso? ¿Doritos?

It did have airconditiong which was good, it was clean and the location was great. The room was so small that two people had to coordinate to move around. My husband and I are both under 5'5 and thin, and we barely fit in the shower. The elevator did not work however and we had to hike our luggage up and down the stairs.

Location Arrived to find my room had no shower and toilet - I had to go to a bathroom in corridor to shower etc… very unsatisfactory

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the room was pretty nice. The location is excellent, just a couple minutes' walk from Paddington station, and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and groceries around for all your needs. It's a very beautiful part of town with trees and lovely architecture. There is an elevator, albeit old and very slow. And the room had two fans, which were absolute lifesavers considering the heat wave during our stay. And, since our return flight was very late at night, we were able to store our luggage after checkout, for free and with someone watching it all day (which was very comforting). I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is located only a few minutes walk from Paddington station. It was the perfect place to stay for a few nights in London. The room was small but functional. I’d stay here again! Overall cleanliness in the room, especially around the baseboards. The shower also had quite a bit of build up around the floors/walls.

very close to Paddington station we have traveled a good deal in Europe and we know that the rooms are small, but this one was ridiculous

Cleanliness was not great. Cleaners came into room even with chain on the door. It was noisy.

Location, cleanliness, comfortable beds. Pretty tiny room. There’s no place for your suitcase.

Loved the location. Close to Paddington train station. Easy to get to from airport.

I liked that it was next to Hyde park. I was put in a room on the bottom floor closest to outside where laundry is done. I was woken up at 2 in the morning by a drunk male banging on the door to be let in the hotel. Then a huge bang woke us up again at 5 in the morning dropping BAGS of laundry. Also the room in front of us seemed to be a staff room as we heard staff coming in and out. Also our bathroom had no air ventilation. It smelled like human waste when we entered and the smell stayed throughout our stay. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

I travel a lot!!!! I can tell you this, this is an amazing hotel! It is in a very, very safe location that's also great for shopping, food, and transportation. Paddington station is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room was outstanding! Very clean, the bed was nice with white clean sheets, the bathroom had plenty of towels, and it smelled really good! The staff is so nice and helpful, they always have a smile on their face and are willing to do whatever is needed to make your stay very accommodating. There is always someone at the front 24/7 so no need to feel like anyone can just walk in. If you happen to arrive before your check in time, no worries. They have a room that you can drop off and store your luggage, go explore the city, and then come back and pick up until your check in time. The prices are reasonable and there is no smoking allowed in the hotel at all! I travel to London England quite a bit and I will definitely be booking future reservations at this hotel! More than one room key if there are two adults!

Pleasant staff, room was suitable for our needs, location was good. Bed was a bit too firm for us. Didn't love the big overhead shower head. But nothing major. Generally very good.
