Location was great. Friendly staff No bar at the hotel

The staff made all the difference. guided us to the parking lot, was very helpful in general but especially when we forgot something they helped organize to ship it back home. Great parking even though its in the city centre, especially for a smaller boutique hotel. the one person bedroom is very small, I would book a double next time even for one. Elevator does not go to the sixth floor but who cares.

Our two bedroom suite was spacious with large windows - loved it!

The location was perfect. Just a six minute walk to St. Stephen Cathedral. Near many restaurants. But the hotel itself is in a quiet area so you do not hear noise from the streets. The breakfast was always delicious!

Location, location, location. In a quiet side-street a few blocks from the cathedral and a few blocks from a variety of subway or tram lines. Genuinely perfect location for sightseeing. Breakfast was ho-hum. Doors and locks were loud. Big wooden slabs and old-school locks made it easy to hear neighbors coming and going.

The location was lovely. The staff was wonderful. Very clean. It was my favorite of all the hotels I stayed on the 3 week vacation Nothing

My room 403 was very small but cozy - and the design reminded me of a Loos art installation so I was delighted with the Viennese vibe. The front desk staff were so pleasant and friendly. They were great with restaurant recommendations and provided me with all the maps and guides and hints that I needed to make this a perfect week get-away. Nothing really!

Hotel Kaerntnerhof boasts a great location in that it is walkable to most sites, but also sits on a quiet side street. Our family of four stayed in the Dom Suite and found it to be large and comfortable. The wall AC Units worked well, which was crucial as we were there during a heat wave. The only drawback was that one unit was a bit noisy, but we adjusted to that. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the parking was close and relatively easy to access. There were two points of slight frustration during our stay. One was the shower, which was aesthetically pleasing but made little functional sense. There were a number of confusing knobs and jets, which made it very difficult to operate, but the most challenging aspect was the fact that the shower had a half-glass door that did not contain the spray of water from either the overhead shower or the jets. Therefore, even though we were all trying to be careful, we usually ended up with a large puddle in the bathroom after each shower, and had to use an additional towel to mop it up. Also, my family travels considerably, and we found this breakfast to be very small and not particularly tasty. It might be better to forgo the hotel breakfast and hit some of the lovely cafes in the neighborhood, of which there are many.

Parking, was told you could try and find parking next to hotel but finding that lot was hard and when you did couldn't find way to enter. Told a parking garage was nearby and that is best option. Had to walk to and from garage or you can Uber.

The staff was some of the nicest we have encountered in all of Europe! The hotel was easily walkable to many different attractions. It was tucked away on a little side street so you avoided the business of everything else going on. Breakfast was also delicious.

Hotel is located in a good location, close to ships and cafes. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the train. Cute hotel with a little library and rooftop terrace. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food. Employees were helpful and friendly.
