Great views, easy check-in and check-out. Rooms spacious and clean. Staff friendly. Didn’t eat there but menu looked good and it was a popular place. First impressions were it was In need of a bit of maintenance; wallpaper peeling in a couple of places, crack in a toilet seat, doors didn’t close easily. At night some form of noisy compressor that switched on and off. Showers were newer and good flow of water but the temperature varied rapidly from freezing to scalding. It was functional but having stayed recently at several inns in Norfolk and Suffolk it was the same cost but not of the same quality.

Shower pressure low. Stairs were tough.

Great location and view. Bed comfortable, tv amazing, WiFi pretty good. It’s an older building, but well kept. The breakfast was marginal and not reflective of the photo. Fortunately there are good options a few blocks away.

The breakfast was well worth £4.99, with a selection of fruit, cheese, yoghurts, cereals and breads. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was rather small for more than one or two nights. It is an old house so we could hear our neighbours conversing at 6.30am.

Close to catch the early morning Ferry. Some dinning area.

Location was perfect.

Nice feel to place, could do with updating.

Nice location and great to have a restaurant on site. Loved the big beds. And the view of the bay. Couldn’t get the tv to work.

In my room (8) there were 2 single beds the first of which I tried was very uncomfortable. Fortunately the other was ok . The carpets in the hotel were aged and worn. Breakfast was served in the pub area rather than the restaurant which was quite tight .

There was no chair to sit in, but I don't know if that's a UK thing or not.

Lovely location, the room was fine once we worked out the rear entrance got us out of all the stairs. The door locks - what a challenge! These need some attention. Parking is a challenge.
-
Half fire doors outside our room, no 3.

The location was great and the rooms were fairly clean. The beds were so old they sagged completely to the frame, the pillows were aggressively tall and hard, the walls were thin and the neighbors noisy, and the breakfast was very light. For $200 USD a night, I expected more.

The toilet seat was broken and slide back and forth. Paper would not flush down. You can hear every door slam. Bed was uncomfortable with middle being the worst. Pillows were really too big and uncomfortable.
-
really comfortable bed and high quality shower, great view over the loch pillows were too firm for our liking however resorting to the large comfy cushions in place of the pillows were a perfect alternative.

Staff was very friendly! Lovely serenity! The inn was basic, but clean and comfortable!

Great location. Lovely views from the room. Continental breakfast ? We’d asked for a twin but it was a double. Noisy from the pub below

Welcoming, friendly staff, especially Karen & Anne-Marie. My dog felt very loved! Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Surprisingly quiet despite busy restaurant downstairs. Restaurant food was very good. The shower pressure could be better but probably not just an issue here.

The location we had a beautiful sea view Couldn't get a change of pillows, they were so very hard. And the menu was limited as I don't like fish.
