Homewood Suites New York/Midtown Manhattan Times Square

The location is central in Manhattan so easy to access other neighborhoods via cab, bus, train or walking as well as easily accessing other boroughs. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Shane and Gigi. A little snack corner off of the registration desk meant i could fill a late night urge for ice cream without having to run out. There is a fitness facility and a rooftop deck where one can sit and watch the sunset which i did. Breakfast was included with many options including hot prepared foods, cereals and fresh fruit and the ability to eat outside in the courtyard as well as indoors. Everything was clean. The room looked out onto the courtyard so it got very little external light and the interior lighting was adequate but minimal so it was slightly dim.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to Penn Station. Has many dining options and close to 7/11 and CVS. 1. We took a room for 3 people, and it was a bit small. 2 The staff come to make the room only from the 3rd night. We stayed 4 nights so we got clean towels only once. 3. There was not enough light next to a mirror, so when your partner is in the shower, you can't put on makeup, as there's not enough light in the room.

Great room. Efficient check in and check out process. Hilton sales rep tries to upsell me on other hotels as I was checking out.

The parking was confusing, the hotels direct website said self-parking, no valet parking. When we went to the parking garage it was not self parking but valet only which led us to believe we were in the wrong garage and leave to almost not be let back in (because there is no in/out). The hotel has an unloading area outside but there was always a car parked there so you could not unload and they had no luggage cart to assist with unloading. (They have one cart but staff said they did not know where it was). I can see where flying in would be preferable, however it was not an option for us. Other than these inconveniences, the room was clean, the hotel was in a great location and I would still recommend it or stay there again.

I felt safe.

Our room was a mixed bag. The room was clean and read when we got there, but the shampoo and conditioner were out and there werent any soap bars to be found. Additionally, the glass shower door didnt close. Maintenance did quickly address these issues, but it would have been nice to had them taken care of during turn over. The cleaning staff did a great job of cleaning the room every other day, but they unfortunately missed the full trash can each time. Overall, awesome property, and Im sure our issues are just normal hotel hickups that happen in the industry. Would stay here again

I had a wonderful stay here. Staff were really friendly upon our arrival and throughout our stay. I was impressed with our room and the cleanliness and space for a family of five. I would absolutely return here for my future stays in New York.

Location - close to main attractions and underground. Good outside noise cancelation Broken and very loud fridge freezer,. Not much storage space for 2 adults and child Reception staff not keen to help, only when spoken to manager few days later some actions were taken. Very basic breakfast with little choice, no veggies at all :(..

I found it very comfortable, and the staff was super attentive and polite. There were plenty of options at breakfast, and the ability to store luggage both before check-in and after check-out was a huge help; I recommend it and plan to return.
