We liked the location, which was close to the tube and it's a really nice neighbourhood. 1) The breakfast selection was very poor, and the baked beans and scrambled eggs were served cold. The supposedly “homemade” cookies tasted like old, store-bought ones. The worst part, however, was the coffee service. Throughout our five-day stay, we had to repeatedly hunt down a waitress and carry our cups across the restaurant just to have coffee poured from a pot, as they would not serve it at the table. Every morning, we found ourselves standing around with our cups in hand, waiting for someone to pour us coffee in the middle of the restaurant. And if you want a cappuccino, you have to pay extra, but even then it will be forgottend and brought to you after you finish eating. They also weren't clearing out used plates after you finish, some cutlery had dried food on it and usually just half of the tables were ready for eating. Felt more like a high-school canteen rather than a four star hotel restaurant. 2) The water pressure in our shower was non-existent, eventhough we were staying on the first floor. After we turned the shower on, the water started "flowing" (more like dripping) about one minute later, and we still had to sort of splash the water on ourselves to wash ourselves. Horrible and very time consuming. 3) The staff seemed disinterested and arrogant, apart from the woman that processed our check out.

great location and staff was very helpful and kind maybe a variety of breakfast each day

Hotel was clean and modern. Room had no window. Service at breakfast was awful, despite asking for cutlery several times we never got it. Had to wait a long time for coffee when we finally got it, it wasn’t what we asked for. Fried buffet breakfast was cold.

Refurbished and clean Too cramped rooms and no lobby to sit and no water in the room, have to go to certain floors to fill.

The hotel is in an excellent location, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and major attractions. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. My room was comfortable, the bed was excellent, and I slept very well throughout my stay. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of options each morning. I was visiting London for a work trip, and the hotel met my needs perfectly. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff received packages that had been sent to me and kept them safely until I collected them, which I was very grateful for. My main disappointment was the bathroom. It was very small and felt cramped, especially considering the overall quality of the hotel and the price of the stay. I expected a more spacious and comfortable bathroom that better matched the standard of the rooms and the property as a whole.

Location room was small but clean. Expensive for what you got. Bar prices high. Bar staff need some training.

Very modern & clean. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had booked a hotel prior and did not like it and it was not what was advertised, we came straight to The Cura and the receptionist was able to help me immediately. We also loved the addition of the Wimbledon & FIFA screenings.
