MAC City Hostel

Light bulbs burned out in the women's bathroom. In a sketchy area downtown.

The condition of this hostel and the building in which it is in is not so good. That’s the only issue I have. Bathroom area could also be worked on and modernised.

Just the walls are thin so you can hear other people easily, but doesn't bother us too much

They need to clean the room more I found cockroaches in the room my kids couldn't sleep because you could hear the noise from the street in the room

It was quite clean and small, the staff was very friendly and the location convenient. I was happy I stayed in the female dorm because the men were very weird and tried to approach me inappropriately. I didn't feel safe as a female solo traveler. Also because the women's bathroom was basically open with no door that could be locked and it was bordering the common area.

The location is great and esay to access from all the city by public transport. Directly located at Berliner Tor - 1 stop from the main train station Hbf. There is a Kebap Store directly next to the door and asian Supermarket. Great view to the S-Bahn and city! Nice stuff, smooth check in and late check out which makes a one night stay really comfortable.

Simple, basic place to stay. Helpful staff. Secure bike storage. Limited common space, very difficult to access bicycle storage: bicycle had to be folded to fit in elevator, bicycle could not be accessed overnight, i could not retrieve bicycle until staff came in at 8 am.

The sheets were clean, the bathroom was ok. Quite cheap compared to the competition. The building is a bit morbid, smelly and dirty The curtains and walls of the room were dirty

I dont expect too much because of very low rating, but i was surprised that this hostel is actually good. The location is just next to Ubahn and few walks to Sbahn, very near to Central bus station as well. The room is clean.

Cheng was very helpful. He waited to let me in past check in hours. The kitchen needs some cleaning. For me it was not an issue since I wasn’t planning to cook. It s just a review/ Comment for other travelers. If you are not o picky, this is the place for you. Inexpensive, close to the citi center, close to Public transportation.

The bed wasn't good and WC was dirty.

You get what you pay. it's cheap. smelly and loud people in the rooms, but that's not directly the fault of the hostel

Location near to Bahnhof. For Student and low budget travel it is a good option.

Dirty disgusting conditions Smell of rubbish/street in the corridors and to some extent in rooms Very thin blanket If you want to go to the hostel on foot from the train station you need to go through neibourhood full of homeless and junkies

It's a cheap option for a short staying that doesn't require more than just sleeping for the night. UBahn entrance is directly in front of the door. Bathrooms and showers were rather clean compared to the rest of the hostel. The kitchen and common areas are very dirty. All rooms are mixed and are all occupied in majority by men. I would not recommend to FLINTA* and queer people. Area is rather doughy but the entrance of the Ubahn is directly in front of the door so doesn't require too much wondering around.

Overall, not bad. The location is very good—close to U-Bahn , supermarkets, and the S-Bahn. Unfortunately, we had issues

Close to the city transport, you have the things you need It's isn't terrible, but it's really not clean, everything is old
