Movenpick Resort Aswan

Excellent view and location. Villa’s AC is very questionable. They offer quick breakfast 3-6am to accommodate guests leaving early.

Wonderful stay at Movenpick Aswan!! Friendly, courteous staff and gorgeous grounds!! The Royal Villa was incredible!

The hotel was very nice (I stayed in the new hotel)-modern, rooms have nice balconies, etc. The staff was amazing…reception, restaurants, golf cart and boat drivers, etc. I highly recommend.

Location was great, on Elephantine island. They provide free boat every 15 minutes. Lobby is huge and very well decorated, a real charm. Room was comfortable and spacious, with a nice view over the pool and the Nile! You can watch the sunset from your balcony. Bathroom was good size and shower had great pressure. Breakfast was amazing, with some many options that you can spend hours trying to figured out what to eat! They have an egg station and also a crepe station. Several fresh fruit juices and a lot of pastries, cheese, etc. We ate at both restaurants located inside the hotel. Food is pricey compared to Egypt standards but cheaper than Canada/US. Food was delicious and big portions. The have a free chocolate stand everyday, in the lobby. Overall a great stay. I’d definitely come back and recommend this hotel. I wish I could spend more time enjoying the facilities like pool and garden.

I paid 316 USD , my friend paid 248 USD. The difference is ;I made reservation from hotels.com, however my friend made the reservation from different sites.

We had a a nice stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The service is good but there is a tendency to expect tip for every little service which is stressful. We are happy to tip and help people but it’s hard to always have cash and satisfy tip hungry people.

The room was great as well as the view! Sunsets every night from my balcony.. the breakfast was very good with fresh to made omelets and crepes! The staff was always helpful and friendly. One of the best places I’ve stayed! Has a boat to the shore of the East Bank every few minutes. I enjoyed the dinner at the Egyptian restaurant and the view there was fantastic as well. I will be back when I’m in Aswan again!

The breakfast buffet was also great considering it comes with the price of the room. Overall 10/10 experience !

The property itself is beautiful, a peaceful oasis with Dubai sailing by. The free shuttle boat across the Nile is convenient, and staying on Elephantine Island feels special. The pool area was great for relaxing, the spacious lobby has plenty of seating, and the outside views are truly fantastic. Breakfast was plentiful with a nice buffet, including eggs made to order. The spa is located near the pool level and makes for a nice retreat. A tip for future guests: take advantage of the laundry and dry-cleaning service. A full bag returned the same day, pressed and folded, cost only $12 USD – an incredible value. We also splurged on dinner at the panoramic restaurant located on the 13th floor of the high-rise building. The meal included steak, filet, fish, wine, and beer – all served with attentive care by Mahmoud.

Very kind and professional staff, excellent food, great breakfast, and front desk agent Rana was amazing! The resort has great facilities, we’ll definitely will come back!
