Reviews
-
Great location near the Saltmines & small local shops the towels could be upgraded and help with luggage-but overall a very good stay. We also had a nice dinner at the hotel.
-
The serene location and staff Maybe it would be good to have a jacuzzi
-
Great location, located in a beautiful garden, 2 min. from the wieliczka salt mine entrance. Free parking, and wonderful breakfast. Very good restaurant on site, and spa. I came with no expectation just because it's close to the mine, and had a good positive surprise Nothing

Although the Salt Mine is just around the corner, we had to have paid transportation to go around the city. We gotten used to it but it was confusing to get to our rooms from the lobby, then we found out that it was easier from the outside. Most of the staff; front desk and restaurant are very nice and helpful. Our bathroom sink didn't look like it was sanitized.
-
Krakow city centre could be far. But the salt mines are on site. For us it was the most important thing
-
Great place to stay, especially if you’re planning to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
-
The location of course, as the name implies, it's right next to the the salt mine. The grounds were well maintained, great for taking pictures. Our room was good size, there were 4 of us but it was comfortable nevertheless. Breakfast was good but the dinner menu was even better. We especially liked the Trout fillet in honey & nuts and the Miner's Tomahawk. The bathroom amenities were good but it would be better if hair conditioner was provided.
-
The location for the salt mine tour start was perfect ( 200 feet away). Parking for cars was fine. Breakfast was good. We went into town, across the street, for other dinner options (very safe).
-
We felt very well looked after and staff were all pleasant and helpful. Our room was lovely, with a super bathroom. The location was excellent as we were attending a family wedding at the salt mine.
-
Very nice hotel in a great location! Room was large and clean and bathroom was very nice. Breakfast is very expensive for what you get but there are not many options nearby. Breakfast is very expensive.
-
A comfortable 4* hotel, good value breakfast and dinner, though a 8:00am start for breakfast is late for travellers. It’s located 100 meters from the salt mine. Our bathroom had a tub and hand shower but wasn’t set up for showers. The Booking address didn’t work with google maps.
-
The rooms are a bit dated and musty as a result but fine.
-
There are multiple entrances but only the main one is open, even though the other have electronic card readers, the room card doesn't let to open them. Our room was in another building, so another entrance would have helped while bringing lugage.
-
Great old hotel that has been modernized nicely. Great location close to Wieliczka salt mine. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
-
What a beautiful, peaceful hotel in a lovely village, close to the salt mines. The staff was extremely helpful, and our room for three people was comfortable and large with nice amenities, including tea/coffee and great Wi-Fi. There was a nice sauna in the hotel, also. We enjoyed a delicious, affordable meal at the restaurant and walks around the gardens. The Salt Mine is next door, so we walked to our tour in the morning. It was easy enough to get transportation to/from Auschwitz and Krakow. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone. The hot tub was closed for repairs, which was a bummer.
-
Perfect location to visit the salt mines. Great environment. Delicious breakfast and restaurant food.
-
It was a real pleasure to stay at this gorgeous hotel, which is at the tourist attraction of the salt mine. It was very quaint, it felt upscale, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location could not have been better.
-
Location to the mine. Excellent service.
-
Very friendly stuff! And location Breakfast was not the best as there was some items unavailable during breakfast so we had to ask stuff to deliver !
-
The location is wonderful, right next to the salt mines, but in a lovely park. The dinner at the restaurant was very good. The parking was very convenient. The room was exceptionally small and we had a hard time finding room for our luggage. The strange thing is that the bathroom was very large.
