Air conditioning not well but okay

The shower door in my bathroom was broken; the night clerk refused to move me the 1st night claiming “ lack of authority”. She refused to contact the manager at home!? I Had to walk over to another room to shower. The next day all was fixed. The paint was chipped; place is in need of repair.

I loved the location in the heart of Old Town Warsaw. The history of the Dom Literatury being a place for writers, including many famous writers was intriguing. I wondered if the writer's desk under the beautiful box window might have been where a famous writer had worked on some classic novel. Bathroom a bit tight.

The property was was right in the middle of the square. Everything was with in walking distance. The rooms were spacious and quiet. We were right in the centre of everything but could not hear anything outside. I liked that everything was right outside the door. Elevator was slow but could also take the stairs! It is in an old building with lots of character. The staff at check in and check out were very nice and explained everything.

The location was excellent, and the room was large and comfortable.

Location. Old town! Quirky characterful place Loved my attic room with a window seat! Water tea etc in the hallway. Maybe a little too quirky! Bed a bit lumpy. The slowest lift for 50,000 miles. Bathroom a little musty and wall attachment for shower head broken

The location of this place is extraordinary! There is a plaza outside that is so fun to people watch! and we loved the character of the place and all the books! A great find! Bathroom was also very updated and super clean. Even through the lift is slow, we were so grateful to have it, as my mom has trouble with stairs. And I have trouble with heavy luggage lol. Would definitely stay here again!

Great view out the balcony. Very roomy in the room. A bit loud, but not horrible.

Best location in old town, especially in Christmas time. 24/7 reception. Historic building with high ceilings, best views. The bathrooms need some refresh.

The location is in old town, making it very easy to get to restaurants, shops, sites, etc. The bed was very comfortable. I traveled during December and my room was warm and the bed was very comfortable. The duvet felt like a weighted blanket. Had a great nights sleep. Staff was lovely and accommodating I would not recommend this place to anyone with mobility or dis/ability issues or anyone carrying luggage or with children. This is not your traditional hotel, but more so a dorm style apartment building converted to a hotel. It’s an old building with an extensive amount of stairs and requires an extensive amount of walking and heavy lifting. There is a lift, but You have to continuously press on the button in order for it to move, which is difficult when you’re handling multiple objects. it is very slow, so I ended up having to walk down 6-7 flights of stairs with my luggage. Additionally, there is no signage to indicate what floor you’re on so i had toThe hallways didn’t have clear signage for room numbers. The rooms also include traditional room keys that you had to use to lock the door from the inside, which felt like a safety hazard. It was also difficult to find the hotel as I checked in at night and it was very foggy. There is a plaque that says the name of the hotel but it is nearly invisible in the dark.

Old town location was great! Lift was not working . Room with 2 single beds was very small and compact - hard to move with multiple pieces of furniture, room could do without the small vanity and maybe use an another luggage holder instead.

Location They advertise views of the castle square, i was lucky to see daylight

Nice place to stay for couple days!

It’s a perfect combination of location, staff, facilities, price!. In the absolute center of old town, right across from the castle and column. Great view of the castle from the hotel. My room was facing the castle and the sunrise view was awesome! The hotel has a vintage touch with lots of character. All the old town tourist attractions ruins are within few minutes walking distance from the hotel. Tons of food places and several authentic polish restaurants. The area is extremely safe and is very active till late night. Liked it all

Fantastic location. View of Castle Square. This is old building but there is an elevator. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. There are small steps to the front door and again to the inner door. Too hard to navigate suitcases especially when these doors are heavy. It is Old Town, so there is a walk from taxi dropped off. No air conditioning or fan.

Very noisy

Unbeatable location just steps from the entrance to Old Town, directly across from the Royal Castle. The guest rooms are on the top floor, offering fantastic views over the city. It’s an older building, so the elevator is slow but taking the stairs adds charm (and a bit of a workout) to the experience. It can get noisy at night. But that’s part of the magic of Old Town, this is the heart of the city, where life happens late and loud. Water and tar are in the hall outside not in the room, different and part of the charm. Some amenities would be useful - there was a small container of shampoo and would be great to have conditioner and hand lotion.

This is a unique experience - it's an old building in the very heart of the old town. Staying there you kind of travel in time. The view on the castle is just amazing. The room was clean.
