Lucia Hotel

The food was delicious and very filling. The staff were polite and friendly. The hotel is not very far from the metro, making it easy to get around. 10 minits by foot for us Everything was clean, and our room was spacious and comfortable. There was no refrigerator or kettle in the room, although this was clearly stated in the room description, so we knew about it in advance. However, it was impossible to buy cold bottled water nearby, which made the lack of a refrigerator inconvenient. The air conditioner wasn't cool enough for us. Even with the temperature set to the minimum, the room still felt warmer than 23°C. After 10:00 p.m. and before 7:30 a.m., there was no designated smoking area inside the hotel, so the only option was to go outside. During the rest of the day, smoking was allowed only in the inner courtyard.

The location is great with only a few minutes walk to the main subway U3. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. Nothing. I would stay again.

The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to public transport (subway and tram) and within walking distance of Wiener Stadthalle. The breakfast was also very good. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I would like to report an issue regarding an unexpected and unjustified damage charge during our stay at Hotel Lucia Vienna. My family and I stayed at the hotel between 2 March and 8 March 2026 in Room 203. We travelled to Vienna in order to attend a radiology congress. During our stay, our small daughter placed stickers on the headboard of the bed, which may have left marks. We did not deny responsibility and were willing to compensate for any reasonable damage. However, the hotel staff immediately demanded a payment of 500 euros, stating verbally that the entire headboard needed to be replaced. No repair estimate, cost breakdown, or written damage assessment was provided. When we requested documentation explaining how this amount was calculated, the staff refused to provide any detailed report or invoice. On the day of our departure, shortly before our flight, we were told that we had to pay the 500-euro charge immediately. Because of the time pressure and our travel schedule, we felt compelled to pay. The only document provided afterward is a single-line receipt mentioning a 500-euro damage charge, without any explanation of the repair work, materials, or replacement cost. While we accept responsibility for any actual damage, we believe the amount requested was excessive and unsupported by proper documentation. We kindly ask Booking.com to review this situation and assist in determining whether this charge was reasonable, and to help us obtain a fair resolution if the amount cannot be justified with proper documentation. Excellent breakfast with several fresh bread choices, cheeses, cold cuts, salads, salmon and fruit choices. Location is good but not great!

Nothing negative, just a consideration for others: we reserved a parking space and the entry was so narrow that our car (VW passat) barely passed through with its mirrors closed. So in case you have a wider car, you might want to reconsider reserving that parking. We were a bit surprised that breakfast included čevapčiči and no scrambled eggs :).

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was simple but very clean and comfortable – just what I needed. It's conveniently located near Stadthalle, which made getting to my event super easy. Great value for the price, and the service was excellent – they responded quickly to any questions I had. Would definitely stay again!

The room is clean and cozy. Although I would love to have another pillow as I was provided only with one. Unfortunately the only mirror is found in the en-suite shower/toilet. Maybe have a standing mirror provided. Breakfast buffet is really good and quite filling.
