Excellent central location in old city. Good bathroom, comfortable bed. Pretty quiet. Air con worked well The room is described as an 'apartment without kitchen', but this does not match booking.com's specification of an apartment, which must have a kitchen. It doesn't even have a fridge or coffee-making facilities, though it claims the latter. Coffee-making facilities were simply a kettle and two cups, not even what you would expect in a normal hotel bedroom. The light on one side of the bed didn't work. No desk though the room claimed to have one. All communications came from an AI assistant, which is fine for simple queries, but there was no person at all to answer more complicated queries. The reception desk was not manned at the times indicated. After using a keycode to enter the hotel, individual rooms are found unlocked and the keys are inside the rooms. So once inside the building, there is nothing to stop people from choosing another room. Someone arrived at the same time as us and found their door locked. They tried to telephone but got no answer.

The location is exceptional! The set up is good, beds are comfortable. The instruction to get in is very detailed. Communication is terrible. I've got AI generated answers and NONE has been done to fix the issues. The coffee machine was not provided even though it must be there by the description. The wall AC unit did not work and the portable AC had the hose stuck out of the window without proper insulation. The cold air escapes the room and temperature couldn't be lowered to the acceptable level. Multiple messages returned by AI generated replies and nobody has lifted a finger to resolve the issues. The temperature was +40C for the whole duration of our stay. End the cherry on the top - elevator was not working and we had to go up to the equivalent of the 4 floor with baggage and multiple times during the day. Beside this, it was not easy to find the room because of the elevator status. Stairs are on a different side of the lobby and lead to a different place in the hall. It was quite a quest to find the room.

Location and staff

In the center of Vienna, so easy to get around from the hotel. It has portable AC, it’s great for the summer. The checkout time is quite early for standard service and not offering luggage storage.

Location Cleanliness I needed more towels

Location is the best one . It is 2 min walk from albertina , across the Austrian national library The air conditioner is not working well . We stayed for 3 nights , and the last night it was not working at all . There was a stand fan in the room so we ended up using it every tine . Second , the bathroom was not that clean , when we arrived there were hairs on the sink and the commode , ended up cleaning them . 3rd , the bottom cabinets are broken . Hard to locate the property when we first arrived .

The location was excellent and both beds were king or queen size not twin like what we had seen in other places. One of the bed is in the living room so privacy is compromised if you’re looking for one.

I enjoyed the whole experience. It was clean, comfortable, close to all the site seeing and public transportation. It exceeded my expectations. Everything was great. I have no complaints. I'm planning to stay at the property in the future. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and cleanliness.

Location No lifts and room were very hot

The location is great. We and another set of customers did not receive the code to access the shared “lobby”. Paint was pealing off the bathroom ceiling and there weren’t any towel racks.

Location The bathroom didn’t feel clean, thin towels

The electronic keybopard at the entrance of Room #214 has a faulty '0'. We tried to enter the correct code, but the '0' wont work - eventually it locked us out. Called their WhatsApp number (reception was unmanned at 5:15pm and they were supposed to be there till 6pm), and the manager yelled at us saying that we were stupid not to have dialed the correct code. My wife was furious, but we kept calm since he remotely opened the door. The room was a boiling cauldron because the A/C was not working. Called the WhatsApp number again, and the guy didn't pick up this time - told us to take picture of the A/C unit and send it to him. Did so. 1 hour goes by, nothing. Called again - wouldn't pick up. It was then that we realized that he wasn't going to do anything about it. Then I wrote a chat message to Booking.com through which we had booked, and then the manager called us back, yelled and abused us some more for daring to complain about that to Booking.com, and said that he was sending an electrician to look at it. Thank god! We went out for dinner and then around 7:30pm he said that the problem was solved - it was a fuse gone out. We thought everything is going to be ok. Then we wake up the next morning, and the manager sent us a WhatsApp message telling us that they don't need clients like us and he would like us to leave the apartment. I didn't respond because I was with my family (3 kids) and didn't want to escalate. Then the next day while we were resting in bed, a man and a woman walked into our room, saw us, and before we could get out of our stunned state and ask them anything, they walked out. We didn't feel safe again after that! I am sure they will respond with whatever they need to write in their defense, but I have taken time out of my vacation to write this review because I went through a lot at this place with my family, and do not want others to experience the same.
