I recently stayed at the Ambassador Hotel in Vienna and found it to have both notable strengths and a few disappointments. The biggest highlights are the location and room size. The hotel is situated in a premium location with proximity to St. Stephen's Cathedral, making it an ideal base for exploring Vienna's historic center. The room was also spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for a city stay. On the downside, the WiFi connection was unreliable throughout my stay. For leisure travelers this may be manageable, but for business travelers who depend on a stable internet connection for meetings and work, it could be a significant concern. In terms of hospitality, I expected a bit more from a five-star hotel. Complimentary bottled water, especially during the summer months, would be a welcome amenity. I was also surprised that the room did not include a kettle for making tea or coffee. Another disappointment was the lack of flexibility regarding check-out. I requested a modest 30-minute extension, but the reception team was unable to accommodate it. Given that check-in begins at 3:00 PM, I would have expected some room for flexibility, particularly for such a small extension. Overall, the Ambassador Hotel offers an excellent location and spacious accommodations, but some aspects of the guest experience and amenities did not fully meet my expectations for a five-star property. I'd recommend it primarily for its location, while hoping to see improvements in business traveler amenities and guest service flexibility.

Very good location. Luxurious. Fast elevator. Good A/C. Very helpful staff. 1-*The shower enclosure*! 1/4 had no glass! So... water on the floor, every time. The water itself was perfect: abundant and well distributed. 2-(Small)The toilet flush: it was a button on the wall with a sign "only one push". Some times it worked, some times not. At least, with three sharp pushes, it usually worked. 3-(Small) such a fancy bathroom... not one hook for the towels.

From the moment we arrived, we had a very positive experience at Hotel Ambassador Vienna. The reception staff and the staff helping with luggage were friendly and welcoming. We arrived earlier than the official check-in time, so we had to wait before checking in, but everything was handled professionally and smoothly. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a very elegant, classic, and cultural design. Our room was excellent very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely view. We especially liked the two large windows that could be opened to let in fresh air. The room also had everything we needed during our stay.

It is a very elegant historical hotel. You can see rooms of former celebrities. Rooms are ver large and comfortable. And the breakfast was amazing.
