Hotel Erzherzog Rainer

The hotel is historic and in a great location for sight seeing and public transportation. The air conditioning was a blessing during the heat wave. The staff was attentive, polite and helpful. The breakfast was diverse and generous. Enough outlets in the room. The bed was comfortable . We had to do some rearranging of unnecessary items in rooms such as decorative pillows and the coffee maker to make room for our stuff. This was very minor inconvenience.

Authentic ambience , I really love it. The location is close to U station and tram. So many restaurants nearby Sometimes the lift is not working , so we need to take a stairs

Breakfast is amazing and staff members are extremely nice. Great location (very close to the city center). I would like to use this hotel again and would recommend this hotel to others. nothing.

This was a lovely little property, nice and quiet, the breakfast was wonderful The AC really needs to be turned up more. The maximum cooling setting controlled by the hotel is not enough to keep the room comfortably cool for sleeping at night.

Safe area to stay in. A/C temperature for the building was set too high. The outside temperature was above 30 degrees during the day. We could not adjust the temperature in the room to lower than 22 degrees.

Pleasant reception and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and clean environment. No air condition. Was not enough cooling.

Beds were marginal. Also there was an unfortunate event where the cleaning staff emptied my wife’s perfume and replaced it with rubbing alcohol.

Nothing The hotel was very old and appeared to have never been renovated. It felt more like a museum than a modern hotel. Most of the guests were elderly; at breakfast, almost everyone seemed to be between 70 and 80 years old. The hotel is also about a 30-minute walk from the city center, so you’ll likely need to use the metro to get around. Overall, it wasn’t a convenient or enjoyable stay for us.

Location is very central, five minutes to my venue. 19th century vibes. Welcome glass of sparkling wine. A ventilator in the bathroom went berserk and wouldn't stop, it was quite noisy.

Very quiet neighborhood,pretty close to bus stations, stylish rooms , good breakfast. Sometimes there was noise from the nearby rooms.

Is advertised as having a/c but their system does not really cool down the rooms. During our stay it was very very hot in rooms which made it very uncomfortable. Staff tried to help by providing two fans but they should not advertise a/c.

The breakfast is delightful! The staff was incredibly helpful and assisted me in sorting out many logistics. Thank you so much!
