The beds were very comfortable. The restaurant staff was very attentive. Surroundings were sub-optimal, there was no real garden (as advertised on their site), just some plastic chairs outside. The worst part which is why I am rating no higher than 7 is the elevators being out of order or being used by the workers doing construction at one of the hotel floors. We had to take the stairs or wait for 20 minutes to be able to use the elevators. This is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.

We stayed at Abacus Hotel with my partner from July 4 to 6. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, with both positive experiences and a few areas that could be improved. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were very kind and welcoming. We were initially assigned Room 415, but we noticed that the king-size bed was actually made up of two single beds. Unfortunately, one side of the mattress was much softer than the other, causing my partner's back to sink deeply into the mattress, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. We appreciated that the staff quickly changed our room, but I think the hotel should regularly inspect the quality of their mattresses. Although we were told the beds were new, the foam on the mattress seemed worn out, which may have caused the issue. The size of the Deluxe Room was perfect for a couple. We also appreciated the complimentary minibar, coffee, and tea provided in the room. We also ordered an aperitivo from the bar through room service. We were charged an additional €4 room service fee, which we found reasonable. However, we requested proper red wine glasses because we had brought a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino Riserva to enjoy. Instead, we were given very small glasses, similar to dessert glasses. When we asked for regular wine glasses, the bar staff told us they could not provide them because it was room service. Unfortunately, this took away from the experience, as a good wine deserves to be served in an appropriate glass. One downside was that the hotel was undergoing renovation during our stay. On Monday morning, we were woken up by drilling noise coming from the fifth floor, and the view from our window was mainly scaffolding, which was not very pleasant. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. There was a good variety of food, including eggs, bacon, sausages, cereal, brioche, salads, cold cuts, cheeses, bread, and more. The breakfast staff were also very friendly and attentive.

Neighborhood is very quiet and there is no services outside , far from center , it good for those who love quiet life !
-
Very close to the metro station, overall hotel was clean and well organized. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Mosquitos were disturbing overnight. The restourant in the hotel was not good.

Close to autostrada A bit generic
-
It’s on outskirts of Milano, but a modern neat hotel we needed closer to the autostrada. Metro was on strike so it is pricey to get to the center of Milano by taxi.
-
We had a nice room, very comfortable beds and with thecsauna, fitnessroom and a very good breakfast.. for shure we come back when we will be in Milan again. The metrostation is 1 minute walking from the hotel.. what makes it very comfortable.

Not the best neighborhood in Milan

I'm disappointed to the staff

Very close to the train station

Loved everything! Great location close to train station and Autostrada, restaurants within walking distance, wonderful parking for our car, and quality breakfast. The staff were super friendly and the room was clean and quite.

Stayed here for a concert, it was perfect!

Positive experience overall. We value the comfort of the bed, the mattress in particular, of course, and crisp clean linen which is provided. The cleanliness and functionality of the bathroom. Large walk in showers that are clean. The staff are mostly very helpful and friendly. Thankyou. Life would be unbearable without cleaning staff. I often think they are not given the products to clean properly and are rushed by the management. Why are you asking €1 for milk for the one tea bag in the room It's cheap, it's cheesy. Why do we have to grovel on the floor for The Safe & The Fridge. The decor is outdated but I see you try.

The location of the hotel is excellent! It's really practical to reach the highway and the metro station is nearby, so you can take the metro to the city center. The neighbourhood in which the hotel is situated is really nice and quiet. The hotel has a great garage with enough parking space, but it's also easy to find the parking spot on the street (if you don't want to pay 10,00 EUR for the garage). The pool area is a bit dilapidated.
