They need new cushions. Pillows are too soft, so they should have a combination of soft and foam. Towels are no longer white so I think it’s time to get new ones. It’s our third year to come and noticed the deterioration.

I will never go back to that place or recommend to no one. Limited shades by pool, Location, far from town, building lock of maintenance.

The location was good for my purposes. I didn't like anything else about this property and was very disappointed.
-
The property was very clean and staff very friendly. A beautiful pool with perfect sunset view. 15 minute walk to the beach and a very professional and enjoyable massage and mud bath treatment!

Close to the airport and the staff are super friendly

The hotel was really quiet, not full at all so it was best to rest and enjoy the pool. Also the staff was really helping, especially one night with a group really noisy, they went to tell them to stay quiet. I also liked the pool and the great spaces of the property. Once service was really slow at night in the restaurant. No problem with morning service.

The hotel pool is big, and there is space for everyone. I appreciate the no dogs police. There is parking available. I made a reservation through Booking.com, and after a while, I received an email saying that I could only pay with American Express or a money transfer; otherwise my reserve would be canceled in the next 24h. The facilities are wore off, with many items broke, for instance my shower head was so rusted that did not move, and none of the power outlets in my bedroom work, including the one for the tv. There is no mini bar in the bedrooms, and they charge $20 per item to store at their fridge. The corridors are with a ceramic tile with large grout gaps between. You can hear all the Tec-tec-tec noise of guests luggages running in the corridor while you try to sleep in the morning. The restaurant is overpriced, the service is slow, and the food is mediocre.

The property was a typical Mexican quaint hotel. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. We arrived around 8:00 p.m. and went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. There were 2 other guests there. It took the waiter a very long time to take our order. All we ordered were 2 beers, a water, fries and guacamole. We had to wait about 1 1/2 hours for this. We questioned the waiter and all he said was that they were busy. BUSY???- with 3 guests in the entire restaurant? Additionally, there was a cat walking around the premises walking from table to table. The staff did nothing to get rid of it. WiFi not great. Getting disconnected constantly. The hotel was a very short ride from the airport about 7 minutes away. We were ripped off. They charged us about $15. We could have walked there, but unfortunately we were not familiar with the area.

The pool area was amazing. Our room was large, with comfortable beds overlooking the beautiful pool. Our room was cleaned each day we stayed. We had food in the restaurant one evening but it wasn't anything special. La Julia is the best place for breakfast/lunch. It's a 2 minute walk away. Playa Coral (about 5-10 minute walk away) is a nice quiet beach for swimming. We went snorkelling off the beach there and saw loads of lovely fish. The hotel is remote, but given the quality of the food at La Julia, I would return to stay here if I came back. The hotel is walkable to Vive Mar, to release a turtle and watch beautiful sunsets. Our evening meal in the restaurant was average. We dismd not eat there again.

Very large hotel, great place, big rooms, very clean. Good communication with the team. Food, drinks and breakfast are Ok. Not wonderful, but Ok overall a very nice stop in Puerto Escondido Breakfast quality could be improved ( very light coffee and fruit juice is not so nice)

The hotel itself is beautiful: quiet, big and clean pool, beautiful garden, very close to the beach, some rooms with ocean view. The room is very big. Wifi was as bad as other reviews already told us. In the restaurant it was acceptable the first day and bad the second. I didn't like the attitude of the staff, at the check-in they didn't inform us about basic things like the possibility to get towels for the pool. They never said hello when someone entered or left the building. The room was not very clean (hair on the floor, party equipment of the former guest still hanging on two places in the room), also there was garbage in the corridor, even though the cleaning staff was always around. The bar tender was not very attentive, even though nobody else was in the restaurant.

Close to the beach Friendliness of staff… provision of wrong information

We liked the swimming pool and restaurant area. The hammocks were a lovely bonus for relaxing. we also liked the simple bedroom room aesthetic. The staff were really kind and helpful. We had breakfast included in our stay but it wasn’t clear what exactly that was. we ended up ordering from the menu most days and having to pay for it. This needs clarification.
