Breakfast was good. My room was great with good air conditioner. They make their own bread. The Pool could of been colder. Wasn’t inform i could take a shuttle to the beach without having to walk.

10 out of 10, I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. I was supposed to stay one week but extended because I liked it so much. The people who work here are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well managed, I had a large balcony room which was great. The location is in a very quiet part of Puerto Escondido and right beside beautiful Playa Bacocho. The pool was large and extremely clean. Food was delicious. I will definitely be back. Muchas gracias Hotel Suites Villasol Puerto Escondido.

No wifi in rooms, guest WiFi didn’t work properly

The staff was not accommodating and I was placed in the worst possible room in the entire hotel.

Staff friendly. Many rules no personal drinks at the pool, no elevator, many stairs. Not for people with disabilities lower extremities problems including, cane, walker or wheelchair. Happy hour drinks only 1-2 and 7-8 pm. Breakfast buffet only $250 mn at arrival and things like items ex:soda additional cost. No refrigerator in standard room or ice bucket.

The staff were exceptionally nice! They were very accommodating and kind. The check in area is clean and pleasant. Breakfast was good (for a charge). Liked that we could check out towels for the beach. The room that we stayed in was not great - dingy, small, felt unclean. The ceiling was peeling in the shower, the door knob to the bathroom was loose, the floors looked dirty, one faucet didn't work in the sink, etc. When we explained this, they were able to move us to a different room the following night which was cleaner and nicer, but still clearly very worn. In contrast, our friends stayed in a newly remodeled 2 bedroom and it looked amazing - new floors, very clean, much more comfortable - a much nicer room and experience for them. The pool looks nice on the website - it is just "okay." Very basic rectangular pool in the middle of the courtyard.

The Pool!! Great for kids and adults. Staff was almost non-existent a the pool or restaurant. You had look for them to get service. Rooms are on the smaller side. Curtains are practically see-through so the sun wakes you up pretty early. No elevators so you get a work out if your room is on the 4 floor.

The rooms are reasonably close to Playa Bacocho and Playa coral. But the beach club which is a 10 minute walk down a steep path is right on the best beach in town - bacocho beach. They even have a movie night at the beach club every Wednesday. The beach club has volleyball and pickle ball courts, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Loved it. The free breakfast buffet is awesome. Try the pumpkin flower and huitlacoche tacos. The rooms are too outdated. The property needs a major upgrade. The air inside the room didn't feel fresh and the AC filters were dirty. Also the shower and bathroom fittings were very old.
-
Great access to linked beach club ( 5 min shuttle) and Playa Bachoco and turtle release spot, and not far from the great Playa Carrizalillo and restaurant strip. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities a litte dated, beds very hard , one night was really noisy ( doors banging til 2pm).

Great food and drinks Lack of cleanliness of bathrooms and old quarters

Instant hot water, crisp sheets, clean rooms, hair dryer, nice toiletries, on-site restaurant, beach club transportation, and helpful staff. There wasn’t enough parking in the lot, but street parking is unusually safe and plentiful. The mattresses were a little hard and extra pillows would be nice.

Very beautiful property. We had a car, so it was a good location. Not a ton of restaurants near hotel to walk to, but this didn’t affect us. Property was top notch, deck was excellent, room nice. Food good at restaurant on location. Nicholas the bartender made a FABULOUS Margarita. He was personable and very kind. We will definitely stay here again. If no car- may want to stay a bit closer to the beach you prefer or Centro. Nothing!
