Nopalero Hostel

A lovely, welcoming environment -

Smelly room, fascilities could be cleaner

Nopalero is a really cosy and chill place. I liked the vibe of the hostel. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The dorm and the bathrooms as well. I liked the pool and the shared areas. I didn't stay long enough to meet a lot of people but it was a friendly hostel. The volunteers were very nice and helpful :) it's also close to the small beaches I didn't feel comfortable coming back at night because of the neighborhood which was dark and there were lots of stray dogs. If you want to be close to all the shops, restaurants, clubs... you have to take a taxi which is not cheap ! When you have the top bed, you don't have any curtain (but if you have the bottom bed you do have one)

Lovely hostel. Great vibes. The pool is nice and shaded from the intense sun. Very social - but in a chill way. We went out with the volunteers and guests as a group. Most importantly I slept very well all three nights

Quite close to the beach, very cool and calm atmosphere (at least when I was there). Delicious breakfast! A lot of space to just chill. The AC works in certain hours but it’s enough to sleep well. Overall a very nice place! Oh, and staff were really nice! I guess it depends what kind of vibe one is searching for, I really enjoyed what this hostel was offering.

Love the relaxed atmosphere, staff were all super friendly. Little fans in the room were also incredible For some maybe it’s a little far to the beaches. (I walked everyday) but it is close to other areas of the town

Very nice place, cute, the stuff was amazing, we really enjoy our stay. The place a little far from the “party warts” but it’s okey and we use a colectivo Nothing

Absolutely awesome staff. I arrived very late at night, the staff made sure that I got all the information to find my bed. awesome experience. the hostel is spotless clean and very good value for money.

Very relaxed, quiet hostel but still social as it is small & feels homey. The Yoga class was nice. Free breakfast was okay. Rooms clean, spacious & comfortable beds. The garden is very nice to relax. Location is not the best, but we knew that beforehand. To Playa Carrizalillo it’s a 20 min walk, the market is very close. You can take a taxi for 150 pesos to Zicatela or 200 to la punta. Kitchen could be better equipped and a bit cleaner. Curtains on the beds would be great for more privacy.

Exceptional

Lovely pool and hammocks, good vibes, great place to chill and relax for the day It was quite out of the way so had to get taxis a lot of the time, and the air conditioning in our dorm wasn’t working at the time so it was very hot to sleep, also no curtains on the beds so very little privacy

Very good

The hostel looks nice. There are many outdoor places where you can chill and relax. There is also a clean swimming pool where you can play a game of volleyball. Furthermore, an activity is organized every day to participate in. Thanks Nopalero for the fun time! Also there is AC! None

Amazing common areas, pool, activities, great vibe, helpful staff; Bit far from the beach, hot rooms at times at night and not all the beds have fans

I liked how spacious the garden was and it was also very clean! Maybe the fact that it's quite far from the centre, beaches and the rest of Puerto when you have to walk. Especially in the heat.

The hostel is really beautiful The pans in the kitchen were quite old and scratched.

Super friendly staff that made me feel welcome right away. Very nice introduction to the property and activities in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and linens.

Great staff, hostel really clean, kitchen good equiped and clean! pool was really nice too location is not thattt close to the beach and parties, but this you can see before book the hostel.
