Very good location. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room.

Breakfast
-
Room size, decoration typical Prague, the building, hall and breakfast room. Location very convenient and quiet at the same time Early check in to be paid. Breakfast is good but could be improved to higher standards
-
As a five star hotel, it is a must to have a coffee corner in the room.
-
First 5 star hotel with no fitness I have ever seen and I travel a lot. The room was really tight and the breakfast was poor for the rating of the hotel. I would say more like 3.5 stars hotell at a stretch.

Location next to train station was convenient. The hotel’s restaurant was very elegant. The breakfast was sufficient with endless coffee dispersed by attentive staff. Jose was very kind and helpful. Good luck with the new baby. At this price, it would have been nice to have more public facilities, for example a small fitness center.

The hotel is very neat, and its architecture makes you, as a visitor, feel very important. The breakfast is fresh, and every day there is another type of dessert at the breakfast. I enjoyed very much the poppy seed cakes. The service is good. The people of the hotel I was asking for help were kind and efficient. The bar was closed. I would have appreciate to visit it and have a drink at night.

Only the average location. The name “Esplanade” gives the impression of a 5-star stay, but the reality is far from it. No tea maker, no comfortable beds, no king or queen-sized bed – just two attached single beds. Blankets are so small they feel like kids’ size, and the staff insists it’s “European standard,” unaware that we’ve explored 90% of Europe. No gym, no pool, no basic amenities. Reception is dull, like a 3-star hotel. Lift is tiny. Overall, a disappointing experience that doesn’t match the name or rating.

Exceptionally good breakfast. Great location. Kind staff.

I chose this hotel in large part due to its proximity to Prague main train station. It is also easy walking distance from the Old Town. While the hotel is visible from the station, you do have to find the correct underpass from the station to walk there safely. The Airport Express bus also was a convenience, as it leaves from the front of the train station. Breakfast was good, and the staff was exceptional. I loved being able to open windows in my room. The bathroom was excellent, with walk-in shower, and an outlet conveniently located near the mirror. Like most hotels, the bedding includes a duvet cover over a comforter, which is entirely too hot for sleeping in spring weather. As always, I found myself peeling the cover off and using it as my sheet and blanket.
