Best Hostel I have stayed in George Town, I have found everything I want , Nice Kitchen , Fast internet, Comfortable Bed , Hot shower, Great location as well

Well The Place have Cozy Bed, Fast internet, The staff is very friendly and help me with directions also do the laundry for me, Location is Super close to everything, The good thing is the kitchen is fully equipped, will come back for sure

Lean and quiet

The room was okay—nothing spectacular, but basic, clean, and equipped with curtains. Check-in was quick and allowed before the official time at no extra charge. Cleaning in the showers and bathrooms needs improvement. The dorms are upstairs while the bathrooms are downstairs, which is not very convenient.

Location is damn good, really close to Komtar bus terminal, Gama, and Lebuh Presgrave. Really live up my expectations. The price is affordable and reasonable. Since I only stayed at the property to sleep, I didn’t much care with the toilet and stuff which I think can be upgraded to be more clean and neat. The reading corner is good for you to relax after strolling around and you can make a coffee and tea as well. The toilet is functioning but quite poor in design and looks. It feels like grandparents house in the village.

It was a really good stay in the centre of George town with a really warm welcome. It is also good position for restaurant, shopping centre and buses to go all around the island.

I like the colorful starry cubicles and the location 1 street away from Magazine road and Dato Kramat street which are major roads fronting the central Komtar tower. I chose this side of the town this time bcos I want proximity to the Presgrave Lane hawker center, which locals go but unknown to many tourists. The oyster omellette is to die for. I went there 3 nights, Access to Hou Douz is easy if you arrive by ferry. wait for the free CAT bus every 20 minutes and alight at Komtar terminal and you are only 1 street away. for the mixed dorm upstairs, the toilets and bath are all downstairs which is inconvenient esp at night, The ratio of bath and toilets for the 20 dorm beds are 2:2:20

Location is nice Only one toilet and it’s not located at 1st floor, I should go a long path to the shower room. Shower room is small

More than expected Shower in bathrooms can be improved.

The room itself was cool and quirky and a great use of the space. The location was excellent with good bus connections and cool things nearby - the bus station market was a highlight. The shared space was great with free cold and hot water and cooking facilities. Sadly the room suffered from a bit of damp - the ventilation was poor and the bathroom was quite moldy. Fine for a few nights but it did worsen my asthma.

Toilet is too far

Great location! The hostel had great facilities including a kitchen and many clean showers. I liked the layout of the beds, you entered from the end of the bed rather than the side. Nothing.

Despite the size of the dorm with 20 beds inside it was very cosy!! The kitchen can be used, the internet is excellent and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Toiletries and water refill are available. Super easy and fast self check-in offered. The Komtar Building is next to the hostel and nearly every bus line stops right in front of yout door. I loved my stay and even extended for a few nights - thank you so much, dear team! Toilets are often short of toilet paper. Of course everyone wants to set another airconditioning temperature, so I would prefer that only the staff decides about the temperature.

Excellent location with Privacy Bunks and breakfast

Very minimal was provided, feels like I was at camping site, room is dimly lit, my stay was not comfortable

The location is good. The main attractions are walkable. The lobby is clean. The share area is clean. My dome is smelly. They tried to fix it but it remains the same. The toilet didn't have any toilet paper and there are only two on the ground floor.

Had a fantastic stay in George Town! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the experience even better. The place was clean, well-located, and perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Location: The location is highly strategic, with the town center just a 5-10 minute walk away, making it convenient for accessing nearby attractions and amenities. Room: The room setup is basic but sufficient for a one-night stay. It's functional and meets the essential needs for short-term accommodation. Cleanliness: The room and bathroom were generally clean, though the bathroom is small. It is still acceptable for a brief stay. However, my room was located near a common toilet, and since there's no soundproofing, I could hear noises from the toilet throughout the night, which disturbed my sleep.

Mattress in capsule beds was too thin, but extra one is available which I've put under it and that fixed the issue. Going down the steep stairs for toilet break at night was a bit of a nuisance, but manageable.
