Bed and room space. Checking in late (24-hour lobby). Big lobby area with an electrical plug. The bathroom had a shower directly on the floor, so after the shower, the entire bathroom was flooded. That was pretty uncomfortable. Also, breakfast time – I came at the end of it. And while a few people were still finishing their breakfast, two staff members who cleaned the dining room looked unfriendly. They peeled and squeezed oranges for juice. But when I asked them where I could drink fresh orange juice, they pointed to a box with regular juice from the store. They also gave me dissatisfied looks and spoke in French, discussing something the hotel should not allow guests to do at the dining room entrance if they arrive late. I felt a bit uncomfortable. Especially since I checked in quite late and didn't even have time to sleep enough before breakfast. It is a total contrast to the Moxy hotel, where I was staying for a week before Campanile. When I arrived late for breakfast there, the staff were more than friendly and even went on to find and bring me some croissants and a cappuccino so I could eat. Especially since my hotel room reservation at Campanile included breakfast (paid additionally).

Really easy to park, safe and secure. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Spacious family room. Very comfortable bed. Close to the Metro for the centre of Paris. Not a great area of the city however, easy to jump on the Metro for more desirable locations to visit. There was no fridge in the room.

Very nice, comfortable room. Location near metro station, bar in the lounge. I travel a lot and this is the first time ever I needed to pay additionally to leave my luggage at the hotel for a couple of hours.

Not much except for the location Staff was condescending and had an attitude, especially one lady during the day. There was no ice machine anywhere in the hotel so I had to ask a front desk person every time I wanted some (which is not very convenient nor efficient) and every time she gave me side eyes … I had heard rumors of Parisian service being rude but never experienced it myself until I stayed at this hotel. I needed an iron for my clothes which again most hotels have in the room or on demand and when I asked for one I had to give a €20 euros deposit in cash?! (Never seen that before…). Rooms are very small and unlike the front desk lady liked to condescendingly say to us is not necessarily standard in Paris. We literally stayed at a holiday inn at gate de Lyon the weekend before and had a much larger room. I had to slightly bend to get past the bed to my side because of the poor tv placement and very limited space. The list is long but I’ll stop here. You get the gist.
