Cheap and cheerful - broadly has what you need! Air conditioning does not work - beware in a heat wave!

Very disappointing and unacceptable handling of a simple taxi request. I asked the hotel to arrange a taxi to take me to one of Paris’ railway stations. I trusted the hotel staff to follow this straightforward instruction. Instead, without informing me or obtaining my agreement, the hotel arranged a private car/VTC. I only discovered this when I received the invoice, which was considerably more expensive than the taxi service I had requested. This is particularly disappointing because I would expect a hotel to be transparent when arranging transportation on a guest’s behalf. If a different and more expensive service is being substituted, the guest should be informed and given the choice to accept or decline it. I have stayed in hotels many times and have always trusted their staff to handle such basic arrangements properly. This is the first time I have encountered something like this, and it has seriously undermined my confidence in the hotel. I find this practice shameful and unacceptable. The issue is not simply the price; it is the fact that the service I requested was changed without my knowledge, leaving me with an unexpectedly high bill. I strongly recommend that the hotel be transparent with guests about the type of transportation being booked and its price before confirming the service.

The location is very good, quite close to Lafayette Galeries and many touristic attractions. One Metro station is in the corner and there are 3 supermarkets nearby (100-200 m) it’s a quiet pedestrian street but the Ubers do stop at the door The size of the room, no cupboard. Difficult to have two opened suitcases and carry on inside the room

Location was ideal for stay, room was a single and small but prefect for my stay. I cannot comment on breakfast or other facilities as did not use. Very close to metro station. Room was very clean. Very minor- tap loose on sink.

A really amazing place with a great balcony, a handy lift so you don’t have to walk up 5 flights of stairs on your way home from a night out, functional and clean bathroom facilities, and the comfiest beds. the safe was high quality and secure and you couldn’t ask for much more of a hotel in such a great location. Within walking distance of very cheap amazing vintage clothes shops, the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann (with the jellycat patisserie), the viral italian restaurant Pink Mamma (definitely worth the hype) and if you really try you can walk to the louvre and maybe even notre dame. Any place you don’t feel like walking, you are probably a maximum 15 minute uber from most places and the hotel is right buy a metro station. Apart from the amazing room, a highlight was the staff. Yuri (i believe that is correctly spelt) was so funny and kind and a great person to chat to whether heading in for the night or out in the morning. Another example of the amazing staff was upon returning at 4am from the club, too drunk and unable to find any food for ourselves, the kind man on the front desk retrieved some leftover baguette for us which was very appreciated. There wasn’t loads of floor space and the AC was a little tedious to figure out
