Nothing Staff communication between them is terrible, pool always dirty, beach club never had towels available after 4pm, no ice cream at the beach club, drivers options overpriced(get a private one from outside for less then half).

Some of the apartments have been modernized, while others are extremely outdated. On our last night, we stayed in one of the renovated apartments, which really highlighted the difference. The refurbished rooms were much nicer, but the older ones are in poor condition and need significant updating. The reception staff seemed more focused on handing out vouchers that we never used than providing useful information about the hotel's facilities. We only discovered after a week that guests have access to a beach club with complimentary sunbeds. This is an important benefit that should have been explained to us at check-in.

LOCATION: The location offers a good balance between local experiences and tourist conveniences. SECURITY & RESOURCES: The hotel is foreigner-friendly, secure, and equipped with the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It is situated within a gated development with dedicated security personnel, providing an added sense of safety and privacy. CHEAP FOOD OPTIONS: For those looking to explore beyond the typical tourist spots, there are also local food stalls and eateries nearby that offer more affordable options. I highly recommend trying the family-run restaurants just outside the gated area for a more authentic local dining experience. SHOWER: I wish the shower area were separated from the bathtub. Having both in the same space leaves a significant portion of the bathroom underutilized and makes the layout feel less efficient. CLEANLINESS: Room cleanliness could also be improved. I checked in approximately eight hours later than the standard check-in time, which should have provided ample time for room preparation. However, I noticed several strands of long blonde hair in both the bathroom and living area. GYM: I love going the the gym, it's a shame that the gym closes at 9:00pm. SNACKS: One small touch that would greatly enhance the guest experience would be to provide a few complimentary refreshments upon arrival. I checked in past 10:00 PM when most nearby restaurants were already closed, leaving me with limited options for food. Even a simple snack, such as a small pack of chips or crackers, would have been greatly appreciated and helped tide me over for the evening. ?

The Novotel is located in an garden-like area/suburb of Bali - Nusa Dua. The pool are is huge, plenty of chairs and two-person gazebos and is well shaded. The staff are amazing, always smiling and always helpful. One word summarizes the room et al - excellent and same for food. Minor issue is that all food drink and areas are open to the outside, not air-conditioned. If its hot and humid, this could be an issue for some, though all areas have ceiling and portable fans to provide breeze to make it more comfortable.

Kind of disappointed to get a singe bed for 4 guests, we've clearly called out needing a room with two queen beds. Thermostat issues in the room was also not very pleasant given our late check-in.

Nice resort, spent here just 1 night before departure, do not have so much to say, but my highlights are - staff is very friendly and supportive, all agreed arrangements done with no issues, beach is very good - clean water, pleasant service and facilities (bit far from resort, but shuttle goes regularly and it is worth to walk 10 mins there instead of waiting same time). Also not so much to say, maybe good to have more variety of food at the beach and add some nice decorations in the room

We took a one bedroom suite. Very spacious. Room had a drinking water dispenser, large fridge and facilities for cooking. The living room sofas were made to bed by the hotel staff without any additional charge. The balcony was overlooking the pool and had ample space. The swimming pool was large and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Could have added a microwave. Only teabags were available. Some coffee powder would have been nice.

Location, accessibility and the look and feel. Limited restaurant working times and choice of options in breakfast are limited. If you arrive early and wait for the room to be prepared there is no other place other than the reception to kill time as restaurants will ask you to wait for them to start the restaurant and the bar will have limited food options.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always greeting us with their lovely smiles. We were supposed to stay at a one-bedroom but got upgraded to a 2-bedroom. The facilities were very family-friendly. The pool was the place we frequent and it’s kid-friendly. We enjoyed the food, especially the buffet bfast as they serve tropical fruits that are quite expensive to buy back home. They have kids’ club but there’s too many things to do with the kids in the resort that we didn’t get to leave the kids there. At the beach, it was peaceful and it’s good they had a shuttle every 15mins.
