Old & tired property. but the staff are very friendly. Rooms have a terrible smell of humidity. There was a massive lizard in the room when we first entered. Beds and linen soaked up humidity and were wet. We arrived to check in at 1am and decided to forfeit our non refundable booking and go to another hotel as soon as we saw the rooms. The manager was very understanding and friendly. They accepted to refund us the 3 nights but charged us 1 night penalty per room despite not using it.

The property itself was pretty and the food is good. I don’t have much else positive to say. Save your money and stay elsewhere Bali has much better hotels for much better deals We paid a big premium for a Club Level room at Bali Tropic Resort & Spa, expecting luxury. What we got was a disgusting, overpriced, overrated disaster with zero accountability. Hot water barely filled the tub one-fourth full before running out. We had to boil water in the electric tea kettle for showers/baths. Maintenance never fixed it. They spilled gray water all over the hardwood floor and left a mess. The next morning, a huge plumbing leak flooded the Club Level hallway with gray water and fecal matter — nauseating in a “premium” building. Room service bungled or forgot our orders over four times — meals missing, wrong, or never delivered. When I complained to the manager, he was unprofessional, offered no compensation, and guilt-tripped me by saying he’d pay out of his own pocket but knew his workers lived in poverty. Worst of all, on our final night my wife lost her phone right outside the Club Level building after falling. We confirmed she had it at the nearby spa via CCTV. The resort has cameras everywhere, but security only checked the feed right outside our door and refused to review the actual area where she fell and where it was clearly stolen within an hour. They showed zero effort to help despite our clear instructions. Theft enabled by their laziness. Club Level perks were nonexistent. Broken promises, filth, incompetence, and indifference ruined our vacation. This place is a complete rip-off. Bali has much better options — stay far away from Bali Tropic. Would not recommend to anyone.

Our room was a little dated as we had booked via Booking,com nothing was explained to us. We were left to our own devices to find out what was what. Location a bit out of main Nusa Dua.

Location was great, nice and peaceful. Staff were very courteous. Door locks were a little off with no automatic locking when the door closes, meaning if someone is leaving the room the other person inside needs to manually lock the door each time. Bathroom flushes were less than ideal with multiple attempts of flushes required due to hardly any water pressure with some leakages present too

The property is stunning in all aspects, and the food was superb! Rooms felt a bit damp at times and the beach was disappointing.

The hotel is big and with a traditional Bali style. The room was big and comfortable. The staff was very polite and welcoming. The ocean in front of the hotel is not so clear. During low tide it looks a little unpleasant.
