It was all very clean and in a great location. It can be a bit noisy depending on who is staying. Our neighbouring guests arrived back at 3am and were quite noisy, however we were staying above a pub so always knew this could happen however if you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. You also have to share bathrooms so if you have set deadlines to get places you would need to make sure you left lots of time to ensure you were showered and ready to go and didn't get stuck waiting for a bathroom to be free.

Easy access, quiet even though there is a pub downstairs. The pizza shop attached to the pub is absolutely amazing too. Great value for money. Would stay here again if I was in Newcastle for a night or two

amazing! even though it was on top of a bar it didn’t seem loud at all! the room was very nice and there was a side entrance door you can go through so you don’t have to walk through the bar nothing to say

Everything was clean and comfortable, such a pleasant stay. Even with live music downstairs, the sound was well dampened, and I slept peacefully I wasn't a fan of the pizza. But given how busy they were in the restaurant, my preference was in the minority, for sure.
