Rooms were as expected clean, location was good. Everything was great except the breakfast was very low standard, quality was not there and the selection was minimal. The dishes were empty a lot. Not sure if there were any eggs in the scrambled eggs tasted liked powdered eggs. disappointed that you couldn't order other style eggs. On the Sunday they did not have any bacon. Would have preferred to go to Maccas around the corner for breakfast.

The location was great, very central to Spencer St station and trams. The hotel was clean and welcoming on arrival. Breakfast was a lovely addition, albeit not the greatest buffet however hot options were rotated daily i.e. sausages, bacon and then French toast, as well as one day there was hot noodles and then fried rice as options (seemed a little odd), toast with spreads, cereals, fresh fruit and porridge available each day. Our bed was extremely hard and resulted in sore backs each morning. As mentioned breakfast was a bit disappointing however appreciate the option.

the location - easy to walk around the city or use public transport the check in area is not efficient, mixed with the bar, staff are not trained well, they get flustered by multitasking. Their first priority should be the customers standing in front of them, not the one on the phone or on the other end of an email, but that was what we experienced, they would not even acknowledge us or apologise for the wait. The computer screens are too high so one staff didn't even see the passports people left on the counter until we told him. He was too busy typing and not looking. The bathroom design is a tricky one. A glass box, I guess it's easy to build and low costs. But if you value your privacy even if you are in a solid relationship, these bathrooms are not for you. They are not sound proof ;-)
