Excellent location and free coffee machine in lobby Old, poorly maintained, not well cleaned and the one of the plantation shutters to block light to the room where the sofa bed is was missing.

The key card continued to be a problem with not being activated for hotel entry and room entry.

The staff were super friendly and fun, my daughter and l were having a fun night away and they picked our vibes and met them. We arrived a little early and our room wasn't quite ready, we didn't expect it be , but we sat in the lounge area and had a lovely complimentary coffee while they got it ready. Superstars. We had cookies in our room, which was spacious, and lovely soaps and lotions. The rooms were so quiet, we heard hardly any road noise. The next day they looked after our bags ALL day so we could shop until we ran out of money!! We didn't see any ghosts and we were hoping we would.

Terrible customer service. Room was dirty with trash from prior guest. Facilities are run down and dingy. Towels had things on them we were unable to identify. Mentioned to management and staff the trash and problems with the facilities and no one did anything. Super expensive parking charges. Would not recommend to anyone.

NOTHING! THE PLACE IS A FILTH HOLE How in God's green earth can this dump be a 4 star hotel?????! The place is disgusting! It is feral, dirty in every spot you look and turn to. The Beds were dirty, the walls are all stained and have been painted in patches with different types of paint, the shower door is broken, it actually falls off, the toilet seat is broken, the toilet cistern is glued together with plaster, the doors have blood stains from previous users, there were pubic hairs in the beds so obviously the beds weren't changed, the kitchen table chairs are all stained and grubby, the double bed quilt cover was stained from who knows what, one of the single beds had a red stain on the quilt cover and black hairs on it, the carpets are stained, the rocket rug has more stains than colour, one of the sitting sofa chairs is broken underneath with timber panels falling out of it, the complimentary water was opened, the air con doesn't work in one of the rooms so we had to sleep with the doors open to warm up that room, the bathroom sink is blocked, so you can't even brush your teeth or wash your face until you wait for the water to go down, the shower has mould and rust on the base, the tap on the kitchen sink isn't fitted to the sink, the exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn't work, so all the walls, tiles and toilet are covered in drip marks, the hosts are rude and didn't even acknowledge us after we said hello and asked them how they were, he just put his head down and started talking in his language to his coworker, the wifi is very slow and the place stinks everywhere of the terrible scent lurking all around the hotel. Just in case people think I am exaggerating, I have photo's to prove it all!!!!! I think it's a disgrace that Booking.com actually endorses a filth hole like this! it makes me wonder how it is possible that they are allowed to quietly stay unnoticed below the radar without being closed down!! Where are the inspectors? Does Booking.

Close to Spencer St Station and CBD no much

The Hotel was in a fantstic spot for a stopover in Melbourne. Close to the transport hub that services the airport. Close to the CBD, the Yarra river and the dining in the Casino area. The hosts did what they said they would regarding a late check in. The late check in went smoothly. Nothing.

Good location to get a room free tram. Near restaurants and supermarkets

The staff are outstanding. I like the fact that this is a carbon neutral property. Fittings are of good quality. Appealing framed black and white photos of Melbourne in the corridors. Charming prints in the dining area. A book nook with comfortable chairs and a gas fireplace with electric flames. Breakfast is good. I had Eggs Benedict and enjoyed them. This is my favorite hotel in Melbourne however I took me some time to find it on Booking.com It would have been good to be able to search by hotel name
