Very convenient location, clean, comfortable and spacious room Breakfast was pitiful, disinterested staff, lack of food available ie not refilled. Lack of gf options. Will never eat breakfast there again

Rude staff. The female staff would give me dirty looks and talk about me in their language. Dirty room, dirty kettle.

I did have a late dinner in the restaurant and was a little disappointed with my food. Fish was over cooked but the service was very good. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and will try them again another time.

I am not loving the way the floors are designed and the half a dozen steps up or down with my case.

No microwave.

Great location, good room and good bed. Also the breakfast is a real deal as well.

Only there one night so didn't find anything wrong.

Very nice place to spend a couple of nights in the city Could have doona on bed rather than blanket.

Cleanliness, hospitable staff, and do more with less design

Location is really good, Southern Cross station is literally just across the street. Staff were friendly and helpful, checking in/out is quick and easy. Room was okay, nothing special. For the price there was nothing to complain about. Rooms look towards an inner walkway, with a weird shade solution for privacy, but it's not too disturbing. The air conditioning units in the room (and the bathroom) are very loud, forget sleeping while it's on.

Amazing staff very understanding and helpful. Easy access and great location.

We arrived after midnight and the young gentleman at the service desk was very friendly and helpful. Because of our late arrival from the airport he extended our check-out time to 11am instead of 10am which was very considerate. Could not fault anything.

It's a fantastic place to stay, central to transport & all that's on offer in Melbourne, & it's safe! There isn't much I didn't like, it's a great hotel.

Clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price in a very convenient location if you have events to attend in the CBD. It is right next to many public transport options. A light over the bed.

check in and check out. Ability to store luggage securely Room located virtually outside and difficult to access with cases. Rooms very small and although the bed was very comfortable and clean and there was plenty of hot water and a spacious shower, the rest of the room was a bit grubby.

Conveniently located close to the train station, very up-to-date interior Self check-in kiosk tried to charge me even though the booking has been fully paid already, so I went to a receptionist instead

Cheaper accommodation. Ease of access from train station. Staff helpful. Small cramped space. Could hear noise from adjacent room. But still good value for money. Should be a warning for the uninitiated as to which window blind provides the privacy. Breakfast choices in restaurant great and good value. Dinner menu few healthy choices. I had Nachos - stale chips, overcooked cheese, barely any beans in the chilli.
