If you’re an American and love A/C, this is the hotel for you! Plus the location is ideal walking distance for all the historic monuments. Staff was excellent!

The staff is exceptionally good and specially the team at the restaurant. Location is the most central posible. The place is brand new The hotel itself is fantastic. If I have to mention one thing is the no immediate access from the street so you’ll need to walk from the uber about 100 meters, no big deal.

Very clean and comfortable room. It is very central and yet the room is very quiet. The staff is very friendly, we came early so they invited us for a breakfast because the room wasn’t ready yet. I highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best stays at a hotel we've had in Europe! You can tell they care about their guest's experience. The staff personalized our stay in many ways making us feel comfortable and welcomed. Excellent location. Excellent breakfast. Spacious ultra comfortable rooms with well-functioning AC. I would stay here again without question. The hotel is well-located on a busy square in central Madrid. If you are at all sensitive to noise, you can sometimes hear the liveliness of the city below, but this did not bother us at all. We prefer to be near the heartbeat of the city.

This is a truly unique hotel, quite different from others in its overall concept. There is a special attention to detail that makes you feel very special. The reception staff are very friendly—as is the entire team—and the effort they put into doing their jobs well is evident. The cleanliness is excellent, the room is very comfortable, and the personal care products—such as the bath soap, shampoo, and lotion—are high-quality and have a very pleasant scent.

It was centrally located and was very clean and safe. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing! Right next to tram station. Balcony was small standing room only.

The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is amazing, we were in the middle of everything. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, we want to mention especially Amadeu for his hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at La Fonda de Los Principes. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and everything was well maintained throughout my visit. The location is unbeatable, with many of Madrid's main attractions, restaurants, and public transportation just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever I had questions. Overall, it's an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a hidden treasure in one of the most iconic spots in Madrid. Close to all the things worth exploring, La Fonda surprises you with its lovely staff, beautiful rooms, and absolute comfort. From the delicious chocolates they leave on your bed, to the personalized note they provide to welcome you, and finally to the cute farewell little gift, I would return time and again. Highly recommended!!
