Location, just that. The lady who initially met us at the hostal was extremely rude, would not even listen to what I had to say. The room was supossed to have a twin and full bed (triple room), but it had 3 twin beds. There was no toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc), the whole place was disgusting. I was not able to stay because my trip from Portugal was delayed, even when the room was available the following day, I was charged the full amount for the day I missed and then offered me the room at a much higher rate (80 Ɛ). I would never recommend this place, not even to my worse enemy!

It was extremely close to Gran Via and on the heart of Madrid, making everything very accessible It wasn’t the nicest place (you get what you pay for I suppose) and the shower didn’t always get hot. I would hope for at least a bed to sleep on and a warm shower for 54 per night.

It is a simple place, but clean and comfortable. Shower is good Noise isolation is poor.

Only stayed for one night, but the staff was excellent. Comfortable beds. Access to AC, wifi, and a really nice shower. Very close to the metro and center of Madrid.

The place was ok. Good location but the room wasn’t that comfortable. The shower flooded the whole bathroom and part of the room. The bed was uncomfortable. The duvet cover didn’t look clean. I really disliked that they emailed me days before requesting to fill out forms with passports information. I am on vacation, I don’t want to spend time doing that prior my arrival to the hotel. Every hotel I’ve been to in the world they get that I information when I check in, why do they have to email me so many times prior? They also email me and texted me many times asking what time I would arrive. I responded but then they continued texting me many times the day I was arriving and even called me, so annoying! I would never stay at this place again.

The location was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the tv and mini fridge were very good size. The lady from reception was lovely, super attentive. That you could hear the noise from the corridor, the building is old so it doesn’t have elevator but is not a problem if you aren’t carrying too much luggage.

I just like location. The staff doea not speak English. So it was difficult to understand each other. The room does not have Windows. I did not like there.

It was very close to Gran Via. There were restaurants closed to the place. The receptionist, Niurka was really kind and sweet. U have to go up 66 stairs, with luggage it becomes a little complicated.

Great location. Helpful, courteous staff. Windowless room. 3rd floor walkup, no lift. No smoke detector. Insufficient egress in case of fire. ?
