St. Johns Wood Boutique Hotel

The location was convenient. Pub was open to let us in. Not much else. I booked this property specifically because it advertised air conditioning and appeared in my Booking.com search after filtering for properties with AC. Unfortunately, the room did not have functioning air conditioning, making it completely unsuitable during very hot weather. We left immediately after entering the room because there was no air conditioning, the room had a strong unpleasant smell, and the overall condition was far below what the listing and photos suggested. The host was not present on arrival, and check-in was handled by the pub downstairs. Unfortunately, the staff there were unhelpful and came across as rude when we asked for assistance. I contacted the property immediately to raise these issues but received no response. Very disappointing.

Nothing No staff on premises...not known until after booking. Described as an apartment, but it was a tiny room, no space to hang clothes. Shower drain blocked. Very steep dangerous stairs would have been a death trap in the event of a fire. Room was double-booked. Inadequate door locks. Sold as a boutique hotel, but it's a few converted rooms behind a pub.

pub and restaurant on the ground floor makes the stay loud for light sleepers.

nothing Room wasn't clean, stained carpet, broken blinds, and door to room didn't have a safety lock on the inside. rooms are over a very noisy pub with customers smoking and shouting outside.

The stairs are small an tall quite an adventure to bring bags up to the room and back

Location. It was so dirty, kinda demanded, smelly, not even comfortable bed and small room. Doesn’t match with picture at all! Septic smell all the time. Dirty spoon, dirt in bowel with tea and sugar.

The value for money, location and the friendliness of the staff. The entrance needs a little tidying up (paint work etc.)

The Booking process was superb as was the information to access the rooms. On-site venue for food and beverages made the establishment absolutely perfect for my overnight stay. Would Highly recommend All Perfect

The room was spacious. The cleaning staff was very helpful. No airconditioning and no shower.

Clean, comfortable bed, wide bathroom, boiler, coffee, tea and cookies The structure entrance is a bit smelly (maybe from the pub sharing the location)

The hotel was close to St John's Wood and Camden Town Market . It felt very cosmopolitan and safe. Staff very friendly Everything closed at 11pm. Not a bad thing if your want am early night
