Kind and accommodating staff, very helpful and cheerful No Aircondioning (Aug 26)

Not much No air conditioning in temp of 35C. Scaffolding work started outside bedroom window at 8.15 am each day. Limited car parking
-
Prime location, at just over £100 per night could pay 15/17extra for breakfast but I make my own coffee and muesli easy. It may be cheaper due to scaffold, but it is good value compared to the rates in in Lent with ABB

The lady on reception was efficient. Very basic hotel that is looking extremely tired. Upon arrival water was dripping from the ceiling in reception into buckets and on to towels. Nothing was mentioned and it was not a good impression. We were also woken by room service just after 9.00am who were checking to see if they could make up the room. Not ideal.

The staff was just great - everyone we've met or asked help from, thanks a lot!! Also the location is unbelievable, there were no issues with parking and the room was exactly what we needed.

Good location, really big hotel and the staff we spoke to were really nice. Showers clean and modern. Walking the streets at night felt safe and 15 minute walk to main shops. Tescos a 3 minute walk up the road. Rooms big and plenty of space. It is a little dated - furniture older but functioning - beds were not the best but with so many rooms not sure about other beds. No air con but fans were available. We would have struggled if there were no window.
-
friendly staff, very helpful I emailed to state that it was our 25th anniversary whilst we were there. This was not even acknowledged which I was very surprised about.

Cheap and cheerful, clean, beds comfortable but had to ask for 2nd pillow, bathroom recently refurbed , No aircon but they didn't advertise it with so can't complain, fan supplied and was powerful enough. For the money we paid, nothing I can complain about, renevations were happening but they didn't affect us, room was dated but we only wanted somewhere to sleep and cleanup.
