Well designed, comfortable and conveniently located. Very cool alcove type bath. Beds are clean and comfortable. Property is air conditioned via a central system which can be dated and insufficient for a heat wave. The whole property is a refurbished old building. Small cramped spaces and steep staircases. No lift so if you’re staying on higher floors with heavy luggage, good luck. The toilet bowl is oddly elevated above the ground, if you’re of average height, be prepared for your legs to go numb. A lot of services are self-served, refill your own water and get your own extra towels. Staffing is often minimal. Price is at a premium for what you’d expect.

Easy checkin and nice room. Nice free snacks and drinks in room Not that it can be changed, but the scene in the park opposite is not so nice.
-
All very good - staff helpful and room good thank you. Slightly noisy early mornings as you could hear people above us in the main bar.

Disappointing

Great location and a totally unique place to stay. Great room with brilliant little touches. Loved the whole vibe of the place. I had to courtyard room and it was a lovely space. Nothing

I had very bad night sleep, the air conditioning cannot be switch off, and it close directly on my head. The bed is comfortable but the bedding and pillow cases are washed with harsh chemical, it has a strong smell of bleach and it irritates my skin so much that it contribute to my skin flare up.

Boutique style hotel in an excellent location on a very quiet side street Rooms are very compact but have everything you need for a short stay

The decor was nice. The female receptionist. One was friendly one wasn’t so much. We had the family room. Which I didn’t realise is an apartment which is at the end of the street on the corner. So you can’t just pop down to the communal area or anything for a drink etc without travelling the street. Which given the area just won’t be happening after 8.30 The square toilet isn’t good unfortunately.

The decor of the property is very cool and immediately gave the impression that you were in somewhere a bit different. The room was not large but it was very well laid out with some interesting touches. Breakfast was adequate for our needs although we tend to eat smallish breakfasts. The location is good, very near St Pancras station and only 20 to 30 minutes walk to the West End and the Embankment. There was nothing that we didn't like although check in was a bit haphazard as there is no obvious reception desk. The stairs were quite steep and although they did not present a problem for us could br difficult for some.

The rooms were very comfortable and the decor was adorable. The upcycled beverage carts are very creative! The neighborhood was a bit rough in terms of street traffic, but that is to be expected from a hotel near a busy train station like Kings Cross.

Close to the station There were lots of ants in the kitchen, put us off making food.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating Small bed

Location Staff member who checked us in was not very friendly or happy! Room smaller than we expected Constant noise from room above us - could hear every footstep

Don't expect a 'chain' style stay - this is a unique boutique style hotel and all the better for it. The room was absolutely excellent. Comfortable bed and really good quality bedding, great decor, super clean and just lovely. I had room 25 which had two large windows with views over the park and lots of space. The air con was superb! The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. There was a great continental style breakfast with real, freshly baked pastries - delicious! Snacks and drinks were provided (complimentary) in the room. What's not to like? I've paid a lot more in London for a lot less. Highly recommended. There was nothing not to like.
