Proximity to St Pancras station. Lack of lift to upper floors. Room was exceptionally small. Breakfast was inexpensive but could have been better.

The location is great. Not very comfy, not very clean

The location. The staff. There was an overpowering smell of garbage coming from outside, so I could not leave the window open, and the room became very hot and stuffy. The room was at the back of the building, so perhaps it faced a utility area where the waste is kept for collection. There was a fan, but it was not enough. I could not sit comfortably in bed because the wall behind it was inclined at an awkward angle. The floor was very dusty, and the bed itself was uncomfortable. The shower area became very dark once I closed the curtain, and despite using the curtain, the shower still flooded the bathroom. The WiFi was also unstable. It worked at night but was not working the following morning. The lock on the door felt flimsy, which made me feel rather unsafe. To be fair, when I complained in the morning I was offered another room. However, I decided to leave instead. The overall lack of care made me concerned that I might encounter similar problems in another room. I had barely slept and was already very tired, so I did not want to wait until the afternoon to change rooms. I therefore left, even though the hotel did not agree to reimburse me. I have stayed in other budget hotels in King’s Cross before, so my expectations were realistic. Unfortunately, those hotels showed considerably more care when it came to basic comfort, cleanliness and hospitality.

Proximity to station. There were a few dodgy characters hanging around outside. The pillow was awful! It had clearly seen better days. Flat as a pancake!

Good price for hotel near Kings Cross station. Very old and not so clean. We were introduced to basement room. Little bit smelly, with some of the room lights were damaged. Sometime toilet did not flush. Not bad but there should be a better hotel.

Second time staying here, location is perfect! Staff is really nice and helpful. Rooms are basic but that’s what you pay for, no problem for me since I only use the hotel to sleep in.
-
Very close to St Pancras for an early Eurostar journey. Not very expensive. TV in room, fan provided as very warm. Able to check out at convenient early time. Beds were not very comfortable with sheets and blankets instead of duvets. No air con. Basic accommodation.

Convenient, pleasant staff, reasonable price. Room very small

Booked for a very short stop overnight as catching an early morning eurostar from St Pancras. Excellent location for this as only a short walk away. Did not try breakfast as had already left. Would use again for similar reason. Facilities are basic 9
