Polite, accommodating staff

The staff were very friendly and professional. Comfortable bed in a small but very clean room with a view of Kensington. The location is really good — many places can be reached on foot, so there's no need for public transport. Great value for money! NA

I do have a couple of suggestions. The breakfast portions were quite small: we were served one bacon strip, one sausage, one egg, a small serving of baked beans, three cherry tomatoes, and three small mushrooms. A slightly larger breakfast would make a big difference. Additionally, the room we were given was very, very small, which made the stay a bit less comfortable than expected. Overall, great service and location, but a few improvements could make it even better.

Basic. Clean. Very adequate for my trip. I could hear the room next door, but that wasn’t disruptive at all.

Classic family run small hotel. Great hot breakfast included in room rate. Excellent location and great price. This is not a Hilton, the rooms are small, the building is charming and the family that runs the place are wonderful.

Amazing delicious breakfast! Cozy room was perfect for this solo traveler. These accommodations are basic though, so just don’t go there expecting something grand.

The staff were amazing — super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and included in the stay. The location was also great, just a few minutes’ walk from the tube. I’d say the only drawback was that it didn’t have air conditioning, which can be useful during the summer in London.

Rooms are a bit small.

The staff and the location was great! The breakfast was a bit light on amenities (a lot of packaged food), but the cooked food was very good and the staff was very kind.

The room was very small (even with paying for an upgrade) and laid out, so it was awkward to move around in. Mini fridge did not work. Breakfast was okay but not great.

I booked a solo room which was furnished with a double bed. The bed, while larger than expected, took up most of the room so it was very “tight”. Bedding was definitely dated and could benefit from a refresh. That said, I would stay again without hesitation!

Family room had air conditioning; great breakfast

The location was perfect! It was safe and easy to get around. The room was very comfortable for our family of four. The breakfast was good and filling. Most of all the staff were very kind and helpful. I cannot think of anything that I didn’t like it.

Staff was very helpful. Provided us with electric fans because we didn’t realize it didn’t have an air conditioning. They upgraded us to a room with balcony. Able to leave our luggage for a small fee for a few days. Location accessible to transportation and restaurants. A safe place to stay The bathroom sink is so tiny
