Breakfast was awesome - great variety of food. There was not AC. Understandable but still was too hot during the night.

Okay Short stay

Staff attention to have to go

Breakfast is very good - a huge selection. Room was really hot with no way to adjust the temperature.

Central. Clean. Helpful staff. No AC in summer = hot.

Possibility of having additional bed in the same room to accommodate 3 persons. Comfortable beds. No air conditioning - even though outside it was around 18 degrees in the night, it was super hot inside. The windows couldn’t be fully opened due to security stoppers. When slightly open until the point that the stoppers allowed, there was not much fresh air coming in, yet it was very loud from the street. A lady in the reception told us at check in that our room was the coldest and most silent, so there was no point trying to change it. After 4 nights we left this hotel with sleep deprivation.

Once, the housekeeping forgot to renew tea and coffee but that can happen to the best of us.

The location was excellent, the bed was super comfy, the check in staff were helpful and kind. There was no air conditioning and in the hot summer we've been having here, that was hard. Our rooms were facing the street, which was pretty loud all night. On 2 days running, the fire alarms went off in the early morning, and we weren't given any information about what was happening, it was quite shocking.

Terrific location, quick access to local pubs, restaurants and shops if you don't want to go Oxford St. Room standard quite ok. We tried the breakfast at the hotel once, but it didn't meet our expectations. Not so many choices of food. You get more value for money by going to a local bakery or even cafés in the area. No air conditioner in rooms can be rough when weather is sunny and temperatures approches 30 deg C and beyond.

No AC, it was hot

The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and in a good neighborhood. The breakfast is insanely wonderful. I had never seen anything like it. The area seems safe and within walking distance of the British Museum. We would recommend the Friend in Hand Pub, also within walking distance, as a good place to eat. As Americans, we are used to AC, which the hotel does not have. They do provide fans and we could open windows so it was tolerable. I know this summer is also unusually hot.

The breakfast was very comprehensive and the variety of food and drink offerings was impressive. The breakfast area was attractive and the staff was very attentive with clearing tables and keeping the food buffets fresh. It was a bit warm and the rooms do not have A/C. However, we were provided with a fan in our room making the room quite comfortable.

Nice location. Comfortable spacious room and bathroom. Good breakfast.

Perfect location, 1/2 block from Russell Square, less than a 10-minute walk to the British Museum and a 15-minute walk to the Elizabeth Line. The hotel is on a quiet tree-lined street with Bloomsbury architecture. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel room was smallish but felt upscale. This hotel feels like a very good value. I will return to this hotel. I stayed during a heat wave, and there is no AC in the hotel. However, they provided a good fan in the room, and the windows opened. It was not too bad, and it is a common problem in the UK and Europe right now.

Breakfast and location were both excellent. It would have been nice to have the option of ordering from a menu for breakfast as some of us don't want a full breakfast everyday. All staff was pleasant and eager to assist. a top sheet on the bed. A lounge chair . a grab bar In the shower. A full shower door.

Location, staff No air conditioning

the breakfast was great Air conditioning or being placed on a different floor. I contacted the hotel (TWICE!) in advance about my health issues and they put me on the top floor of the hotel anyway. I have stayed at the President Hotel four times, the first time on my honeymoon. I love the location near Russell Square. After all these stays, this is a familiar neighbourhood for me and when I return to London, I will most likely stay at the President again. But I will never come in the summer again, the heat wave and lack of sleep caused me significant health problems upon my return home. I do hope to get some acknowlegement for my ordeal. It is really time for hotels, including the President, to think about air conditioning.

Good location for seeing the part of London we wanted to see. A mini-fridge was provided quickly and the room was comfortable. The auto traffic sounds and sirens throughout the night and the room was a bit warm. Price was high, but I guess it was typical of hotels this nice in London.
