It's quite noisy in the bedroom. Unfortunately, conversations and noise from people in the bar can be heard very clearly in the bedroom, even when all the doors are closed.

The room we were given initially was not clean and appeared to have already been used. There were empty water bottles, ink stains on the pillows, and hair in several places, so the room was clearly not in an acceptable condition. The room should have been inspected before new guests arrived. Once we informed the staff, they moved us to a different room. However, I would not recommend expecting a high standard of hygiene, as the rooms in general do not seem to be cleaned thoroughly. Even in the second room we received, there was still hair on the bed. There was a safe in the room, but the batteries were missing, so it could not be used. There were also no slippers provided, which was quite disappointing

The staff was very good and responsive in fact they let me keep my luggage for a couple of days as had to travel to Exeter from London and did not want to carry all my bags The Size of the room but thats with almost all the places I have stayed in london

We did not get the room we booked. Overpriced

Nothing!

Great location friendly staff. Free WiFi . Would like continental breakfast included as was advertised on our room card key holder. Lumpy bed room 410.

Very friendly and helpful staff, leafy and handsome street was relatively quiet for central London Perhaps the signage for the front door could be bolder; I missed on my first attempt
-
the location is excellent, close to Paddington station and Hyde park The room is really old with no natural light except a small window facing an internal hallway, outdated, small and carpet on the floors that didn't feel clean
-
Towels and bedding are very old and need replacing
-
location rooms were very dirty, stained sheets, stained mattress pads, dried food on floors, hairs on pillows, etc, and bages of laundry blocking exit doors, also evidence of bugs
-
Good location. Very nice bath. Nice staff Room too small.

The location is great and the staff were all very nice. It advertised air conditioning and the staff turned it down for me but it was never cool. It was much cooler in the hall. It made for a few miserable nights. I am not usually too fussy about towels but their towels were, hands down, the worst I've ever seen.

breakfast would have been nice.
-
Only the location and the staff Tiny room, Horrible bed and pillows, Tiny shower
-
Room was on the ground floor close to reception, so every morning we heard the door banging shut. But not too bad.
-
It’s so close to Paddington train and underground which makes transportation easy and affordable The room was so small and it didn’t have a fridge.

Location is great and the room is perfect for a solo traveler. I had to stay an extra day due to a snowstorm on the US East Coast. I asked at reception if I could extend my stay by a day since I had a new flight. I could and I paid another $91. Yet, the next day I received a rude phone call treating me as if I overstayed check-out time. Then after I did check out and was making my way to the train station, I got chased down the street, accused of not paying my extra day, when the man himself had been with the other receptionist when I asked and paid for another night. Extremely unprofessional.

Rajan at the reception was the only bright light in this establishment. He very patiently researched and then shared that info with me about how to turn in old GBP for new ones. He was pleasant, helpful and professional. What a lovely start to my stay. Perfect location. Room was dingy, hot and in need of a freshening up. The carpet was dirty and in need of a vacuum. The bed was uncomfortable. There was one bed cover available. The fancy “scarf” on the bed was disgustingly dirty. It went onto the floor. The staff other than Rajan were sullen and abrupt. A smile goes a long way. There was a bed mattress stored in the fire exit staircase. The lift was questionable as it creaked with each floor. Thank goodness there were two staircases to use.
