Hotel Kosta Famissi

Friendly staff very helpful, clean and spacious rooms and great location. We had two double rooms stocked with water, iron, hairdryer, coffee to enjoy on the balcony and even toothbrush kits in the bathrooms. Breakfast was a good selection of items.

The hotel was older but it was very well maintained and clean. It reminded us of a hotel that at one time was a very elegant and grande hotel. It had a good breakfast to start the day. It was in a great location and walkable around the town and all the restaurants. It was a short drive to Meteora and the monasteries and we had a beautiful view of one monastery from our room. After driving through Kastraki on the way to the monasteries, we prefer Kalabaka. It has more to offer if you are staying overnight. If we ever returned to Meteora, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Nothing that we didn't like.

Staff was super nice. Great location! Amazing views. The hotel has some character to it. The walls are paper thin and they apparently host a lot of student groups. There was not a singe night that I wasn’t woken up multiple times by groups of tourists or teenagers outside the door acting like they were in a race at 2 am. Not sure there is much the hotel can do about soundproofing, but maybe asking guests to respect some quiet hours would help?? Whatever you do, request a room as far from the elevator as possible and bring your earplugs.

Pillows too hard could not sleep

I had a truly pleasant one-night stay at Kosta Famissi Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally kind, helpful, and always ready with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable, well-equipped with the panoramic view from the balcony was which was magnificent ?. The location is also excellent — very central and convenient for visiting the monasteries or walking into town.

Absolutely loved our stay here. I have to say that it exceeded our expectations. The staff was very helpful, courteous and went out of their way to enhance our stay. They even let us stay longer after checkout since our train was leaving later. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Nothing really

Staff were very hospitable and accommodating. For a larger hotel they made us feel like we were very important guests. We had a wonderful view and the hotel is in an excellent location.
