Location / design The first staff I have met was not nice She doesn't want to help my luggage or question about staying longer.

Poor customer service and unclean rooms and bathrooms. My first day i walk into my room and the bathroom had lots of hair everywhere, foot stains, and coffee stains on the desk area. I asked for my room to be cleaned several times. The manager had a bad attitude. When I asked for the room to be cleaned she acted like she couldn’t understand me. And she said she will have someone clean tomorrow. I told her I would need someone to come clean it today obviously because I would be sleeping here tonight. I went out to enjoy the city but hours later the room had not been cleaned as ask. I asked another kind gentleman and he provided me 2 other options. Honestly all of the rooms had dirty toilets and bathrooms. I was very shocked. I just picked the cleanest out of the options and called it a day. Will never stay here again.

While I can't say anything specific, I can note that as of my stay in June 2026 the hotel has only recently opened. There is the possibility for some growing pains that guests may experience, but staff I am certain will do their best to make it right.

The hotel sits right by Wuyuan Bay, close enough to the city yet tucked away in a calm pocket that feels like an escape.

The building itself is beautiful and the location is perfect. The hotel is really cool and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. I felt very underwhelmed by the room, the photos I based the room off on here weren’t really anything like the one we stayed in. It was small, the tv was limited, the plug didn’t fit the bath so the water just drained out- this wasn’t really resolved as they couldn’t get the correct plug and there were no other rooms available. Always love to have baths when away so I was disappointed about that. There was also a slight smell drains and we were at the back of the property where the bottle bins are so had noise of that. The decor on the images of the rooms on here/the site are stunning but this was just a tired small version of the images online.

Everything was fine, except the sink was a size of shoe box?. Staff especially Mr. Daniel receptionist was a true professional. Elevator was little slow. Booking.com has misguiding, misleading information and poor customer service. Bathroom sink was too small.

We loved the location. The staff was also very helpful and professional when we asked for a room transfer. Additionally, the hotel has splendid décor throughout which created quite a nice atmosphere. On arrival, we were placed in a room which was not at all as advertised - it was tiny, with barely any space to walk around the bed and no actual door to its small bathroom - just a frosted glass door. We asked for a room transfer and were transferred to a bigger one with a proper bathroom the next day; we liked that room much more, although it had a strong cheesy/feet-like odor even when we'd leave the window open all day. Apart from that, we thought the pillows were quite uncomfortable in both rooms (they were those pillows that get completely squished when you lay on them, providing no support). Overall, considering the value for money, we expected a bit more.

Friendly staff who actually remembered me from my last visit. I even got a free upgrade for my room which was a nice touch. The cocktail bar is really nice with a great selection of beers on tap. My favourite is the Jacobsen Yakima IPA. Every time I always mention that the breakfast is excellent but the coffee is awful. After breakfast I walk out of the hotel and to Espresso House on Rådhuspladsen to enjoy a proper cappuccino.

Exceptional

A very convenient location about 300m from central station. A baggage room to store your luggage if you arrive before checkin time. Staff polite and helpful. Room was large with comfortable bed. Lots of building works going on around hotel - noisy in early morning but not connected with hotel. Noisy in evening with live music/singing in nearby establishments - but then again it is in the centre of a city. Did not have breakfast as it was very expensive and there are plenty of nearby cafes with superb coffee and pastries. Bit of a scramble for the only lift (elevator) in the mornings.

Disturbing noise starting at 7 am when construction begins right across the street, and then from 7 pm to 9/10 pm when a band plays loud rock music at entertainment venue right across the street. Complained to hotel staff - poor resolution

Very good

The hotel is wonderful, located in the very center, a little noisy because there is construction going on across the street, but quiet at night. There is an elevator. The staff is great, they solve problems quickly. Our toilet broke, they promptly offered to change the room. I highly recommend it. Breakfasts are delicious, good selection The bathroom needs more thorough cleaning

Very, very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing but praise for them. Very dark rooms with only two low power ceiling lights and 'localised ' bedside and desk lamp. Safe box was floor level in wardrobe which required hands and knees 'grovelling' on the floor with a torch in teeth reading the operating instructions. A constant request for black tea and milk which wasn't available in room. Also a missed request for a room makeover.
