In the Shropshire town of Bridgnorth, 20 minutes’ drive from Telford and Ironbridge, The Croft is a family-run guest house 2 minutes’ walk from the restaurants and shops on Bridgnorth’s characterful High Street. Each room has a flat-screen TV with DVD player, hairdryer, alarm clock and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms have private bathrooms. The Croft serves a buffet breakfast selection including cereals, muesli, fresh fruit salad, Greek style yogurt, juices. Cooked breakfasts feature free-range eggs and high-quality meats, accompanied by fresh coffee and a range of teas. Vegetarian and special dietary requirements can also be catered for. This guest house is within a 5-minute walk of the town’s cinema and leisure center, and the popular Bridgnorth Cliff Railway and Severn Valley Railway.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good within a quaint old building and in a very central location. Efforts were made to store our bikes securely. The shower temperature was not working in our room rendering the shower unusable, the owner offered us another room but as we had settled into the room we just used other shower facilities which met our needs.

The location is superb. Stones throw from the high street. The building is lovely, as is the owner. Mattress has seen better days

The staff were so lovely especially the owner....I was travelling alone and arrived by bike and I was given such a warm welcome. All very comfortable and very relaxing. A beautiful old hotel in a stunning area. A delicious breakfast, all presented beautifully. The whole hotel had a lovely atmosphere. Loved it all!

Closeness to centre of Bridgnorth town, pubs, shops, market,cafes,walkabout by river, People on our level, very friendly. Helpful, met few bikers , bridgo the nickname is beautiful for great stay break. Coming away back from bridgo lol

Breakfast was well presented and very fresh, cooked to order. There was a good selection of cereals and jams for toast. We did not appreciate the very limited parking at the hotel. However the hostess was very helpful with directions to local car parks within a few minutes walk.

The location was handy to the town centre. There was a safe place for us to leave our bicycles overnight. Room wasn’t huge but it was fine for a one night stay
