Melo Accommodations

The location itself is very central and close to the historical city center, a 20 minutes walking distance. The main issue during our stay was the noise at night. On 2 out of the 4 nights, garbage collection took place late in the night directly outside the property, using a very loud truck and cleaning equipment. It was literally impossible to sleep, especially with a baby. We were also disappointed that a baby crib was only available for an additional €50. We decided not to accept the extra charge and had to sleep with our baby instead. Another major issue was the mosquitoes. The host did not inform us about this problem, nor were there adequate measures in place to prevent it. Throughout our stay, mosquitoes repeatedly bit us during the night, including our baby's face. My wife and I were also covered in bites on exposed parts of our bodies, and we were still dealing with the consequences weeks after the trip. At a minimum, guests should be informed in advance, and ideally the property should have proper mosquito protection, such as screens on the balcony doors. Parking is another challenge. The property does not offer parking, and finding a space nearby can be difficult. There are many restricted parking areas that may appear available, but special parking rules and construction-related restrictions apply. There is a parking area directly in front of the building, but if you are lucky enough to find a spot there overnight, you must move your car before 7:00 AM. Also, be prepared for cash only city tax payments at the property!

Owners/proprietor did it speak English. Had to use translate app or WhatsApp to communicate. Room was listed as 269 sqft. I think it was much smaller.

Pros- Rooms were bright and spacious, with everything you could need. Main reception area offered some coffee and tea making facilities which were a welcome treat. It is situated in a great location with close proximity to many varying restaurants, and great shopping. Cons - Not great water pressure in the shower head, and water temperature quite cool even on full hot water.

Superb

This is a great b&b close to the railway station and all the main locations in Bari. The room is very cosy, with a ice view on the street. You have everything you need in the room, and besides there’s a small buffet in a common space with a coffee machine, hot water and some snacks for free. Special thanks to the host Piero, who is so friendly and helpful. Next time will definitely be coming here! All was great!

Everything was great, no complains!

Location near train station shops nearby Shower room has no window so no fresh air. On the whole pleased with hosts who are kind and room was spotless. Pity there is no room to leave luggage to be picked up later.

Small shower cabin, no cleaning products except a soap

It was a very good option to stay in Bari, the hotel has a very good location and is very easy to do everything by walk. As we arrived earlier in the hotel our hosts were very kind and allowed us to leave our bags there. Also we had a problem with our bedroom key that broken inside the door and the host quickly solve the problem. Also there´s a lot of option of cafes and restaurants close to the hotel. Everything was very good.

Location, location location and it has everything we need

The room as a solo traveller was good for three nights. The place is close to Central Station very important for anyone that doesn't rent a car for seeing other Puglia s places. Like also the little balcony when I came back from my tours and relax at night. The bed for my tastes wasn't so good but ok..and also I didn't see anyone of the hostess.
