Overall very pleasant stay. The staff was helpul and the room was comfortable and had everything needed. The pool access is also nice. Also tried the gym which was well equipped! Would have liked some more options for "western" breakfast.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel near the Thong Lo BTS station. You can use the gym, pool and sauna at the sister property, Hotel Nikko. JAL is not as posh and exquisite as Hotel Nikko, but is more than adequate for a nice and comfortable stay in Bangkok.

The building felt a bit dated when I stayed in 2022, but they replaced the entire A/C unit and moved it to the central location so it's not hot and cold like before. Bidets in the washroom is that's something you need. TV has HBO and other channels that you would actually watch. Better presentation overall with the new branding. The room is in need of a virtual assistant to centralize the control (button control are a bit dated and no remote for the AC).

The hotel looks jaded on the outside but newly renovated on the inside. Room was big, bright and pretty sound-proof. Front desk staff were very pleasant and patient. I was served by Ms Opal, she's friendly and full of smile. Breakfast spread was adequate and delicious. Dining area is clean and spacious. The bedroom slippers were just too thin and filmsy, almost tripped over and fell when they bent on walking.
