Cleaning. It's was not så clean, the carpet was full of dust in the corner. I separated the to bed to be more comfortable and was very bad. We asked for cleaning the room that day and the carpet was still full of dust between the bed next to the wall.

Location near the park was good. Room/bathroom was dirty, TV didn't work and staff had no interest in fixing it, coffee maker didn't work and only one caffeinated pod given to room, view was of an ugly alley, no ramps for suitcases.

I was able to store my luggage while waiting for my room to be ready. They got us into our rooms very early and did not have to wait until the afternoon for check-in. I got the birthday surprise package for my daughter. Very cute and she loved it. I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel.

Location was good to city central, walkable to museum, City central, restaurants, hotel was clean, breakfast area was nice, offered free coffee anytime, Room was not like advertised online, room was very small, with walls jetting out and no head room, hit our head a few times getting out of bed. TV in room was close to bed and difficult to get out of bed without hitting TV, flooring was soft as if in past had a leak from bathroom, one day air conditioning did not work( think cleaning staff may have changed buttons) another part of our group had to change rooms as there was a leak, No offer of reduced hotel fee for the issues.

The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Room was comfortable, nice breeze through the window. AC was ok. Shower was a little dated, but that’s about it.

great location, staff are very friendly. Free snacks Room was cramped, things broken and tired, paint peeling etc. Air con was unit with tube out of the window which was screwed shut so couldn't get any air to the room and felt damp. No bedside table on one side.
-
The cleaning was bad. They made the bed and left pillow under the sheets. Did not clean bathroom.
-
Breakfast and location Room was too narrow/tight although pricey. It was too hot inside and the noisy AC portable machine didn't solve the issue.

Beds were fine, linens were clean. We stayed here 2 summers ago and ultimately chose to stay here again because the location can't be beat, however, we probably won't return. The area is gorgeous being more of a residential area. The Rijks and Van Gogh museums and Vondelpark are very close to walk to as is the Leidseplein tram stop. Plenty of places to eat around there. Our room was tiny, less than half the size from our first visit in 2024 with the exact same number of beds. We've traveled a lot in Europe but still this was very small for 3 beds. The third bed seemed an after thought. It was diagonal and put in front of the window. You had to step over the corner of the third bed to get to the other side of the double (2 twins) bed. Curtains were torn away at the rod and didn't close properly so light filtered through temporarily blinding my husband in the morning, haha! The bathroom was small as expected but MUCH smaller than our first visit. The shower didn't drain great and stays wet which we knew to expect because our first visit so we had a small fan to run in there. They do have an elevator but it's best once the luggage is in your room to just use stairs. Know they're steeper than normal if you're an American. We didn't pay for breakfast as there is a SPAR convenience store around the corner to pick up pastries, coffee, and snacks.

The staff, the location, the building. Not dirty but not clean, breakfast.

I had 2 rooms booked: a twin and a single. The twin was great, but the single was indeed very small, which is fine, I’ve read in the reviews and expected it, just sharing the experience.

I have been traveling for years, and I have never met anyone as customer focused as the wonderful woman named Arusa at the reception desk. On Booking.com we had requested a quiet room after a long flight. Arusa personally showed us 3 rooms, discussing advantages of each. The next day, she called by our names, and asked us how we'll we liked our room. We stayed 3 days, and we were lucky to see her each day. She was so welcoming and helpful, and went way beyond our expectations. Wow, we were so amazed at her performance, despite her handling a busy reception area with other customers. If we owned this hotel, we would definitely promote her to the highest level of management. Only space limitations here prevent us from offering her more praise!!! We did not know there was another Leonardo Boutique Hotel so close to the one we stayed at. Both our Google Maps, Uber and taxi drivers kept directing us to the larger venue.

The fridges in two of the five rooms we reserved were not working. When we informed the staff, we were told that since it was beyond 4 P.M , these couldn't be fixed till the next day.

We booked this hotel for 1 night because our flight was cancelled. The property is in a nice neighborhood near Volden Park. The room was perfect for 3 people. It was quiet and clean. When we came in earlier than our check-in time the clerk allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel and included free breakfast, which was very nice. When actually checking in, a different clerk told us that we have to pay a 10% city tax. After I told her that I probably already paid it via Booking.com she told me that no -- this was not included. When checking out the next day I accidentally noticed that my Booking.com bill is exactly equal to the amount on the hotel receipt. That meant that I did pay the city tax via Booking. After I pointed this out to a clerk (a different one from the day before) she admitted that a previous clerk made a mistake and refunded the tax. But, I was lucky to have caught this mistake. Also -- the hotel was very pricey, but we had no choice, since we needed something quick for 1 night due to flight cancellation.

The room was a little bit small

Great location in museum district. Close to public transportation, including steps away from airport bus. Staff was great, super helpful and fun. My room was tiny (which was actually ok with me) but dark. Lots of close-by construction. The breakfast was just ok. Wish the hotel had a bar or offered other meals.
