The staff were wonderful, you can rent a bike right there too which is awesome. The bathrooms got really gross every night and a lot didn’t work, same with showers

Not much. It was difficult to find, out in the west side of Amsterdam. It had a scuzzy quality. The ventilation in the pods was poor and I woke up with a headache. They promised secure bike storage which turned out to be locking it to steel pole outside the hostel. There was a gate but it could be opened by anyone inside so not secure. When I showed the front desk the email promising secure storage inside I was told they did not have it and too bad, take it or leave it. I was offered my money back but by this time it was 9 pm and too late to go hunting a place. I spent the night, bike not stolen but I left and found somewhere else the next night. Never again.

Pretty much nothing. I've stayed in hostels all over the world for the last thirty years and this is on my list of the worst ten. No privacy curtain on the bunks, no individual plugs, no individual lights. Cheap noisy rickety metal bunks. No ventilation in the room ? Not enough toilets to go around and some were out of order. Showers were cold at busy times. The shower to walk connections were all broken and only functioning.as hand held. The whole building is dirty and very run down and desperately in need of basic essential maintenance. Extremely overpriced for what it is.

I let many groceries in the freezer and almost everything desappear and anyone give and answer about it. It happened to many guests too.

To much smoking green stuff

The staff were incredibly friendly and the hostel is in a very good location.

The hostel served the purpose: it had a comfy bed, enough space to socialize, and the people who stay/live there seem to be open minded and friendly. There is a Lidl just in front, and a few small restaurants nearby, along with a garden and Sloterdijk metr/train/tram/bus station. It was perfect because I wanted to catch an early morning flight, and I arrived late at night on a Flixbus. I have been to hostels like this one, where you can easily stay and get comfortable because the people tend to be more friendly and easy to talk with, plus a staff that's nice and friendly.

Location is not too bad let say So disgusting : - Old cut nails in my pod - Room was supper smelly - Bed sheets were nasty - Pod’s walls were dirty

Sinan the receptionist is the best. Everything was okay

Got bed bugs. Bathrooms were feral. Ended up using bathrooms at a friends accomodation.

Nothing I could like it! Not even the open kitchen policy they have! Beds are not comfortable whatsoever. Hygiene is big issue; toilets, rooms, beds are not clean. Staff didn’t check me in so they double booked my bed the second night I was there!! Even booking.com emailed me to confirm if I checked in or not cause hostel didn’t confirm me checking in!!

Lots of smokers around.

I really like everything, all the receptionists are the best I can't choose, all of them help me a lot. The Housekeepers are very helpful as well.
