Quentin Leidse Square Hotel

The property is closely situated to the canals and walkable to Jordaan, de Pijp, RLD, Vondelpark, etc. Staff were helpful at check in and check out. Especially appreciated Karmel helping with my bag at check out! Really heed the warning that the property does not have an elevator and the stairs are steep.

The location. There is no AC in the hotel. Having no AC in a hotel in Amsterdam during the summer is wild.

Location was in the middle of everything and walking distance to great tourist spots. The room was extremely small. Housekeeping did not give toilet paper on some days and gave only 1 towel per person. Room was very very hot and they only gave us 1 small fan. The stairs are a death trap and staff does not help with the luggage.

Great location and friendly staff that helped me figure out the ins and outs of riding and paying for the tram -- by far the best way to get around town. The stair case was a cross between a ladder and some a ships ladder VERY steep, but the staff helped with my suitcase -- so all good.

There wasn’t a breakfast to rate! I was in a basement room, coffee shop right next door. People so noisy on the street all night. So strange gurgle in the plumbing, sounded like a loud belch every 5 or 10 minutes.

Too tight and steep basement level rooms; difficult to go carry luggage. Shady neighborhood in the late night hours.

The location The property is an old Dutch house. The stairs are not for adults with luggage to handle. Absolutely horrific. The rooms were uncomfortable. The beds kept sliding apart. Very little room service. One small step above a youth hostel.

Terrible people, terrible stay

I stayed here for one night and really enjoyed the experience. The room was quite small, but it had a traditional and charming Amsterdam feel that made it unique and cozy. The hotel itself was comfortable, well-kept, and had everything I needed for a short stay. The location was absolutely perfect—close to all the main spots and easy to get around. A lovely little place with great character.

Great location, clean, and spacious!

The room. I feel like the pictures on the property page doesn't show the state of the rooms. I was surprised on how small the room was and how cramped the bathroom was. The cleanliness was questionable. There was mold in the bathroom, the shower was dirty. There was also a strain on the bedsheet

Location is wonderful, room service brought us fresh towels every day, thanks a lot! ? Good check in and check out hours, receptionists were kind and ready to help Teeny-tiny bathroom with, unfortunately, absolutely uncomfortable sink. A bit disturbing wall painting/picture. Not much space to turn around in the room. Absolutely adventurous and steep staircase, so it's better if you don't have a suitcase with wheels :)

The location was excellent. From shops to eateries, everything was from a walking distance. The stairs were steep but we understand that nothing can be done because of the architecture.
