Very nice historical hotel. Fun place for a drink and a comfortable bed on our trip to the beach. The down area has a lot to see. Staff was great and would definitely stay again

This is a beautiful historic Inn that is an incredible stay for the money. The restaurant was very good and we loved the rooftop bar!

Enjoyed the restaurant and the rooftop bar! Our room was great!

Historical value is high and the information posted throughout is interesting. The rooms are on the small side which was expected.

I only stayed one night while passing through town, but will be back. Such a pretty hotel, with historical connections they celebrate without being over-the-top. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was comfortable and clean. (Coverlet on the bed could do with a refurb but otherwise the room was pristine.) Restaurant was delicious, best burger I’ve had in a while. I didn’t make it up to the roof bar. Next time!

Our favorite place in Wytheville to stay and eat

Beautiful hotel with historical theming throughout - you'll learn a bit of history at every turn in the hotel. Excellent location with easy parking and walkable distance to stores and eateries. The front porch and perfectly manicured lawn are perfect for relaxing and soaking in the mountain air. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful--and they ensure you know about the fresh-based cookies available at 5pm each day. The restaurant Graze on Main is delicious; I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. This is one of my favorite hotel stays.

I was disappointed in the breakfast. For the amount you pay for a room in small town I thought the breakfast was very underwhelming. The breakfast did not measure up to budget hotels like the Fairfield Inn or the Hampton Inn. Because of this, I do not think the stay was worth cost.

Location is excellent, conveniently located downtown, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and an excellent coffee shop across the street. Front porch is a great place to sit and people watch with a drink in your hand, and roof top bar also looked pleasant with comfy seating and patio heaters. For a boutique hotel, cleanliness was below average. Room seemed tired, with crown molding drooping from the ceiling. Worst of all was the HVAC unit mounted at head level on the wall next to the bed; all night it blew a steady stream of cold air directly down on the bed. Continental breakfast in the morning was substandard for a boutique hotel at this price point. Staff had to be asked to bring out more hot food and napkins; muffins were wrapped in Saran Wrap and bagels seemed to be day old already.

Nice hotel with beautiful roof top bar.

Convenient parking Walk through town without getting back in the car Comfortable mattress, linens Rooftop and it's bartender were exceptional Oriiginally placed in a room on the first floor exposed to noise in the lobby. Cudos to clerk who moved us upstairs when we sked if other rooms were avaiable.

the town, pronounced with-ville is precious and the log house restaurant a unique treat. they used to be pet friendly, but are no longer. the ONLY issue i have ever had.

    Nothing

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

A nice, unique hotel, offering a change of pace from the typical highway-exit hotels up the street. Enjoyed our stay.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Beautiful property, friendly and attentive staff, excellent accommodations overall.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

We liked the location and the historic information in the lobby. The restaurant was good, not fancy. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were great and very professional. The bed sounded like it was about to break, and made loud noise every time you turned. It was hard to sleep, wondered if I would wake on the floor in the middle of the night. THe faucets in the sink gave very little water, so had to go to the bath to wash hands etc.

Modern room. Rooftop access with pleasant seating The listing had advertised a rooftop bar/restaurant that did not exist. Abundant complementary breakfast. Big luxurious bathroom— however the laminate floors in the main room area were deeply dirty. The bottoms of my feet were brown after I walked on it barefoot after a shower.

The coffee pot was broken so there was none to accompany breakfast. I would have thought there'd be a backup plan for such a special hotel.
