Mövenpick Grand Hotel Wroclaw

Main street facing rooms are loud from the traffic. Not for light sleepers.

Excellent location, right across from the main train station. There's a chocolate happy hour each afternoon, which makes for a lovely break in between exploring. The spa with sauna, hot tub, and steam room was also a nice way to unwind before bed, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations! There's not one of the charming Wroclaw gnomes immediately outside the property, though there are about half a dozen within a five-minute walk, so it's not too shabby.

The hotel is really lovely. It is so convenient to the train station. The rooms are very clean and modern. The staff is friendly and made us feel welcome. The walk to the old market is not too far and quite enjoyable if you go through the park.

Location, breakfast was good, staff on reception was friendly and helpful. I didn’t like the menu in the hotel restaurant.

Hotel was very modern, spacious and contemporary and it was in a very safe location. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable as well. Nothing, the hotel and experience was great.

When asked about the hot water, all they could say was “sorry, but, that is how it is when we are at full occupancy; there is nothing we can do about it.” So, we were stuck there for three to four days having to shower in cold water. Unacceptable. I will never stay here ever again. I would recommend others to find different hotels.

First impression only and location Intimidating and Threatening Experience From Hotel Management We chose Mövenpick for its good reputation, but our experience was extremely disappointing. Our room was not cleaned at all despite leaving the “Make Up My Room” sign—bed untouched, room messy, and only two bottles of water and mugs added. Later in the evening, things became much worse. After requesting tea bags and towels, a staff member entered our room without waiting for permission. Shortly after, the manager called my wife in an aggressive and intimidating tone, accusing us of smoking in the room. My wife explained politely that we had not smoked and even invited the manager to come check the room immediately, but she refused. Instead, she repeated the same threatening message: either pay a fine or leave the hotel. No evidence, no inspection, just hostility. It was unprofessional and made us feel unsafe. I emailed the hotel directly—no reply. I emailed Accor, who confirmed that the hotel would contact me, but no one ever did. For a brand under Accor, this behaviour and lack of accountability are unacceptable. We left extremely disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.

Main station is right across the hotel, the bus from the airport stops around the corner. The staff is very friendly, the interior design is great (contemporary chic). I liked my room very much (even soap and hand lotion at my bathroom). The breakfast staff is friendly, but should offer the freshly made waffles (yummie) proactive.

The location and the bed are the best that I ever meet.
