Great location downtown The fridge was making a bit of noise. The mattress was not comfortable as I could feel the springs but I understand that this was made for students.
-
Close to UWinnipeg and West end. Dreary florescent lights, depressing room overall. Very few electrical outlets. Awful mattress.
-
Friendly staff, clean room, affordable price and great location!
-
Bed very not comfortable, no utensils or plates etc in the room or in the shared area which made it difficult to use when you’re travelling, so much food in the shared fridge and freezer that had been there a long time

This was a great value! About 1/3 to 1/2 the price of a hotel. A bed with a private bath was all I needed. There is free parking on the street in the evenings and overnight, but during the day there is a one-hour parking limit (then you have to move your car). This was not a problem for us, since we were at a conference during the days and parked our car at the conference while we were there.

No AC, window handle broken. Couldn’t get air.
-
It was downtown so it was close to areas we wanted to see.

Clean facilities, helpful staff, great location.

The hostel was very inexpensive. It had a good size, was quiet, clean and had a full sized fridge. There was no staff to greet us in spite of advance warning so we had to call the after 11 pm number before someone came to help. The location, although convenient is a bit sketchy to walk around in. And the bed was very uncomfortable. I realise this was a hostel so wasn't expecting much, but would like more than a ragged, nearly see through fitted sheet that would pop off during the night and wrap you up. Easily fixable problems.

It was very quiet building. It was in walking distance to places I wanted to visit. Finding long hairs on the bed sheets, the floor and in the shower. :(
-
Quite noisy. Window didn't work and had to be opened with much labour every time I wanted to get some fresh air. Desk lamp didn't work, but there is a student lounge where you can get some work done when it's not too noisy.

Typical university dorm style accommodations, therefore excellent value and very central. Suite was very clean and amenities like towels, and basic toiletries are provided. TV is accessible in the student common areas and students will also be there. Being the summer semester, the floor was fairly quiet and we appreciated being put in a room at the far end of the hall, away from the student occupied rooms. Security is 24 hrs and access to building well explained.

Good location. Fast WiFi. Problems with checkin. It took some time, the security had to call someone to get a key. There were problems with the laundry. It needs Money Card. I didn't know before that U in UWinnipeg stands for University. The students didn't cause any problems though.
-
Proximity to major places of interest. Feels like home. Non availability of tea or coffee in the room

The guard disrespected me. He raised his voice and didn’t want to help me. The bed is very uncomfortable and the wifi didn’t work for the first days.

The toilet doesn't flush well so I needed to double flush. The bed is raised pretty high around 1.2m, which could be a problem for smaller people and making me worry that I could fall while sleeping. The outlets were mostly covered including the ones for the desk. The only one exposed for me was the one used by the mini fridge.

Excellent location, about 12 minutes away from the Winnipeg RBC convention centre, and about half the price of the Delta Hotel next to the convention centre. At check-in, they only prepared a room for one (single bedroom), whereas we already paid for a two bedroom suite. They fortunately, they had the space and dealt with it relatively quickly, and added on the additional sum.

I like the architecture and the space lounge with the tv and the kitchen. The bed sheets are really worn out .. The shower very small
