SureStay Studio by Best Western Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Hotel looks a lot nicer in pictures than it is in person. It is clean and well maintained but could use an update as everything is quite dated. A doormat near the balcony would be helpful to get sand off your feet when coming in from the balcony.

The elevator was slow and small

Only issue was property has only one elevator causing long wait times occasionally.

The room had roaches, it was dirty all around floors and doors filthy. Sand everywhere. Roach infected

I liked the view because we had an oceanfront balcony. I also liked the fact that the room had a kitchenette with pots and pans so you could make meals if needed because this property did not have breakfast not even continental nor did they have snack options. I didn’t like the fact that the hallways carpets mainly were filthy dirty. There was also stale smell in the hallways and our room had a stale smell so we went out and brought plug ins and cleaning and burning oils to get the smell out the room while we were there. We had a 1 bedroom with living area. The bedroom and beds were nice but the pull out couch in the living area needs an upgrade. We didn’t use the pullout couch it was flimsy and also had a stale smell which we febrezed down. When burned oils the first night and front desk had a nerve to call our room to ask if we were smoking . I wanted to say F no but it’ll probably make the room smell better if we were. And you couldn’t even go out on your balcony to smoke after you pay all that money to stay at this place. And before I forget there’s only 1 elevator for 8 floors we waited almost 25 mins for elevator during busy hours. I can say the ice machines stayed full.

Love the Ocean view easy access to the beach and it was very clean

Everyone was very helpful and polite, room was a little dirty in the bathroom but I cleaned it myself. Tv in living room wasn’t working but the front desk had maintenance guy in there within minutes and he fixed it. Very greatfull and will return!

Nothing. It was the worst place I ever stay. It was dirty (sand, hair, and dust everywhere) the place was really like extra small and with my first year kid and my older daughter with asthma, I had to clean the fckng room like at was home. Worst vacation of my life because of this place.

Close to the beach. View was very nice. Room was kinda dirty when we got there, water pressure in the shower was nonexistent, elevator was super slow got stuck at the top floor multiple times.

Close to the beach. Outdated, and sliding door to balcony hard to open or close, also had a emergency and took two year old to Emergency room and had to rush to pack up to checkout, left iPad there, wouldn’t let us have a late checkout because of baby emergency

The bathroom fan wasn’t working

This room was for 5 and we only had four people. The bedroom was tiny with two full beds. Four adults would have a hard time fitting. The sofa bed was rickety and took up the whole living room. I wish there were more than one parking space per person and a bigger pool.

Really enjoyed our stay, the kitchen was a bonus.
