Staff some were nice some not so nice.

El personal muy lindo en especial la chica de recepción, desayuno muy rico, lo único es el área de la piscina que deben mejorarlo, pero por lo demás muy bien todo!

Room was clean and fairly well maintained but needs a bit of updating. Lovely view of the ocean from the balcony with comfortable chairs. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially the breakfast crew. It's a fun way to start your day! If both elevators had been working the entire week, I would give a better rating. However, I rented a scooter due to my lack of mobility and had to cancel my plans a couple times because it was not worth waiting more than 30 minutes to get back to the lobby. Also, the room is definitely not for handicapped. I use a walker and it does not fit through the bathroom door. I had to turn it sideways to enter. But.... We had a good time nonetheless and I would definitely stay here again. So thank you for an enjoyable vacation.

Elevator was to slow

Our check in process was horrible. We were told our 2 rooms were not ready which was fine because we were early but I was asked did it matter what floor we were on - I said no. Then I was asked if we wanted an adjacent room and said yes. They told me they'd text when the room was ready. Well 3 hours later we still didn't receive a call so we returned to the hotel because we were hot and tired. One of our rooms was ready the other still wasn't.

Parking was super tight as anywhere would be on Virginia Beach oceanfront. Only one working elevator, which took a very long time to get from wherever it was going. Plenty of times had to be packed in like sardines, stand out in the hall which was outside in the heat ( next to the trash bin that smelt horrid) or choose to walk up three flights of stairs to get to our floor. Door was incredibly hard to open, no deadbolt. Room was basic clean as to be expected. Besides, this is one of the hottest oceanfront we’ve ever stayed in. seemed like the air conditioner just could not keep up with the heat. Also By the second day we had ants on the floor…. On the sixth floor. Lastly we had to lug our old dirty laundry all the way to the lobby to be exchanged for new towels. I’m not one to complain. Granted I chose this hotel with some of the other reviews provided but definitely was not what I expected whatsoever

Room was somewhat clean, had hair in bathroom and in shower. Staff was unhelpful. There were only 2 towels in room at check in and staff would not bring extra towels to room, had to go get them. 1 of 2 elevators was out of order. Trash on premises and in garage. Housekeeping is every 3 days. They say you can request housekeeping as needed, when we requested on day 3 (before 11am) as directed by sticker in bathroom they never came. We were asked to come front desk to pick up towels and trash bags for room.

Con's: 1 elevator working to service 300+ guests and staff (staff did not use the stairs like we opted to do to avoid the up to 10minute wait). Ice machines we could find did not work. Requested room to be cleaned daily over 4 night stay. Received towels twice only. No cleaning, no trash pickup, nothing. Room was filthy upon check in. 3 towels for family of 4. Beds were made, but every surface was dirty: sand over everything, windows and mirrors were greasy with fingerprints. Leftover food in the unstable mini fridge. Pool was cloudy. Door to go to the beach was less than 6' high. Significantly understaffed. Breakfast was always out of everything constantly. Occasionally they would bring out an item and people waiting would swarm - visualize a Socialist country bread line. Only 2 people working in the kitchen. Pros: The toilet was loud and powerful. The shower worked, despite the moldy ceiling. The ocean views were nice, as all the hotels have. The AC worked for the duration of our stay. That's it.

The staff were exceptional. The front desk was helpful and the cook was kind friendly and working so hard to fill the breakfast bar.

Front desk staff was very rude. They said they would call when the room was ready. They never called. They put us in a room that had no a/c, flooded and under repair. They gave us another room with towels for one person. When I called the front desk, they said I would have to exchange the towels for more. I then explained we only had towels for one person and a single wash cloth. They said they would send someone up and never did. Every time I would go to the front desk, they wouldn't acknowledge my presence for at least a minute, even when they were doing nothing. Night staff was better. The bed skirt was also dirty and had hair, sand and crumbs all over it. The refrigerator didn't get very cold.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast was always enjoyable with the breakfast crew. The beach and boardwalk view was amazing and entertaining. The sunrise every morning was a great way to start the day!

Situé au centre de la longue plage de Virginia Beach, tout est accessible en un rien de temps. Il ne manque rien à cet hôtel, une petite douchette pour les pieds avant d'entré, des sécheuses, machines à glaces, machine à café, gym et resto déjeuner front beach. Le resto déjeuner est tout simplement un atout et un RÉEL BONHEUR....quel privilège. Une vague d'énergie positif vous envahis grâce au cuisinier sur place qui est contagieux de joie. La piscine n'était pas en fonction...dommage car c'est un bel endroit :( La chambre était parfaite...bon, pas nickel mais propre :) c'est un bord de mer donc l'entretien est parfois difficile. Je recommande fortement.

The rooms were nice and clean. But the elevators were hot and slow to respond.

We really loved the oceanfront location—waking up right on the beach with that view was incredible, and having parking included made things super easy. That said, the hotel itself is definitely showing its age. Our room was right next to the laundry room, so we heard noise whenever it was running. The sofa bed was broken, uncomfortable, and had a dirty mattress, the mirror hadn't been cleaned well, and the shower water pressure was pretty weak. Luckily, the area is full of great shops and restaurants, so we spent most of our time out and about anyway. The breakfast was fine with all the basics, and the gentleman serving it was so positive and cheerful! Overall, it was a good stay for what we needed, but the rooms could use some serious updating.

Great location, helpful staff, the handle broke off the balcony door so had to put something in door to be able to get back in, pool was closed, Chemical issue, breakfast was great. Mildew smell in bathroom.

Great location breakfast beach was a great stay the kids made us stay a extra day they had so much fun
