I stayed in Room 31 in early August 2026. It was hot in the city, but thanks to the ceiling fan in the room, I managed to get by :) I also kept the windows open at all times. The hotel is in a really calm location, and the other guests were quiet too, I didn’t hear anyone through the walls, which is a plus. The room is small, but it has everything: a desk, a bed, a nightstand, and a bathroom. As far as I'm concerned, everything is perfect, and in Vienna you can even drink the tap water. In person, the room is actually cozier than it looks in the photos; the hotel is located on the 4th floor of a historic building. The housekeeper took out the trash from the bathroom every day. The bathroom is equipped with liquid hand soap, as well as body and shampoo, towels, and a hair dryer. Sometimes you could hear the murmur of people from the local cafe downstairs, but it didn't last very long. I slept well. One day I saw just a couple of ants in the bathroom, but I gathered that this happens often in old buildings in Vienna during the summer, so I didn't think the weather had much to do with it.

The pension is exceptionally clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent. I stayed with them multiple times and I absolutely recommend them. As I periodically come to Vienna, they are always one of my top choices for accomodation. The room didn't have a bathroom inside, I had to go across the corridor to access it. Yes, it was technically a private bathroom, but still, having to get out of the room to access it wasn't practical, especially during the night. There was only a shower and a sink in the room, which weren't even separated from the rest of the room. It was all incredibly small. This isn't a huge issue, but it was rather inconvenient. I get that there are a lot of tourists and bookings at this time, so the property offered everything they had. But, one of the reasons why I don't go to a hostel is the need to have my own bathroom, accessible from the room.

Tiny room, not enough space for two people with luggage. I highly recommend being very close with the person you are staying with. Shower was not very clean.
